I made a reservation through booking.com without reading the reviews. Later, I discovered the recent reviews on bed begs. I requested booking.com to cancel as I was travelling with a child and an infant. Booking.com was of no help and directed me to contact the property. I got two confirmations from the property that these sanitary requirement has been dealt with. The biggest lie I have ever been told. We arrive in the middle of the night only to find a horror room with bed bugs. We had no other place booked. The worst part was that they lied and put my entire family and babies in danger. The receptionist was smirking like he knew the whole time. For the love of God. Don't trust this property. I am taking this complaint the local health administration and consumer authority. We did not sleep there but in our car. The property did not even refund me and bluntly lied to booking.com that my complaints are not true and that their cancellation policy does not allow for a refund. Distusting behavior. Bed bugs and unclear basic sanitary requirements every hotel should meet - was not met.

Absolute nightmare. At around 1:30 a.m. we discovered bed bugs in our room and had to leave the hotel immediately. The most shocking part was the reaction at reception. The employee was not surprised at all and told us that the hotel had already been treated for bed bugs just one week earlier. If the hotel was aware of the infestation, guests should have been informed instead of being checked into affected rooms. Because of this we had to leave in the middle of the night, find another place to stay, and take precautions to avoid bringing the bed bugs home. We even had to throw away some of our personal belongings because of the risk of infestation. This is not a minor inconvenience like finding a spider or an ant. Bed bugs are a serious hygiene issue that can cause physical, emotional, and financial damage. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. I have also reported this incident to Booking.com and requested a full refund.

Beschwerde Hiermit möchte ich mitteilen, dass es in dem Zimmer / der Unterkunft Bettwanzen gibt. In letzter Zeit wurde ich mehrfach gebissen, was starken Juckreiz, Rötungen und erhebliche Beschwerden verursacht. Diese Situation beeinträchtigt mein Wohlbefinden und meine Lebensbedingungen. Ich bitte Sie, entsprechende Maßnahmen zu ergreifen und das Problem schnellstmöglich zu beheben sowie eine Behandlung gegen die Insekten durchzuführen.

Die Eindrücke des Ootel in Berlin-Marzahn waren leider wenig auf der guten Seite. Parkplatz muss per Automat bezahlt werden, allerdings recht günstig für 24h parken (7 EUR), Ambiente ist in positiv und die Kiosk-Angebote sind klasse. Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, auch mit der nachfolgenden Kritik und den Beschwerden wurde professionell umgegangen: Zimmerwechsel gefordert (Bettwanzen in den Matratzen, Staub, u.Ä.), direkt neues Zimmer bekommen. Hier alles in bester Ordnung und angemessen.

Uninhabitable Bedbugs, horrible service, no bedsheets even though requested 4 times. the worst of the worst. also people loud and screaming in room beside. dont stay here under any condition
