I didn’t like the distribution. Other viajeros have the rooms separate from the bar/restaurant. Bathrooms weren’t clean enough and it’s almost impossible to take a shower without sweating. There were bed bugs and found a cockroach in my room. The staff was great, Julio, Andres, the ladies that cooked, except for the ‘host’ Renan and this other girl at the bar with fake contacts. Their attitudes were unpleasant, which is unlikely for a viajero hostel.

Cleanest hostel I have stayed in so far. Fresh sheets every day I was there and finally a hostel without bed bugs! Lots of activities and a variety of people staying there. AC in the rooms were nice and cold so you sleep great even though it’s super humid outside. A nice small Tv room with AC you can go cool off in during the day because it is SOoOoo humid outside. My only complaint is the shower/ sinks are outside so you never dry off from the humidity and it rains often so outdoor sinks suck

Viajero Cartagena - Centro Hostel è un ostello party nel centro storico, con la manopola social bella alta: bar, piccola piscina, attività frequenti e una struttura che sembra più un vicolo da backpacker che un hotel tranquillo. Funziona meglio per chi vuole conoscere gente facilmente e non soffre una folla rumorosa. Nella sua versione migliore è molto Cartagena-backpacker: centrale, socievole, con molto passaggio e abbastanza serate organizzate per entrare nel flusso senza troppa strategia. Parte dello staff funziona bene, soprattutto tra reception e servizio, ma l'organizzazione non è il suo muscolo più forte. Il compromesso è concreto. Camere e spazi condivisi possono sembrare stanchi, caldi, rumorosi e puliti in modo irregolare; cucina, bagni, piscina, acqua, Wi-Fi e aria condizionata sono punti di attrito ricorrenti. Sceglilo per energia sociale e posizione, non per strutture perfette o sonno affidabile.

- Il rumore è uno scambio centrale: le camere vicino al bar o alla piscina possono restare rumorose fino a tardi, e non è un ostello affidabile se dormire viene prima.
- Pulizia e manutenzione sono irregolari, soprattutto in bagni, cucina, piscina e camere più datate.
- Caldo, aria condizionata, acqua e Wi-Fi possono essere abbastanza instabili da incidere sul comfort di base.
- Alcune configurazioni di camere e depositi hanno sollevato dubbi di sicurezza, incluse porte che non si chiudevano e camere descritte come facili da raggiungere.
