There were quite a bit of toilets and bathrooms would’ve appreciated if all of the toilets were attached to the bathrooms. The pillows weren’t clear and bedsheets weren’t washed properly there were crumbs of food under my bedsheet. I think there is also bed bugs because my face started itching and I got rashes. Not recommended to anyone.

The building and surrounds plus the situation of the site is amazing. The frontline staff are helpful and accommodating. The mattress is too soft so doesn't support alignment of the spine resulting in lumbar & thoracic discomfort. It also feels like sleeping on latex with the thin lower sheet. The main issue though was BED BUGS! Though I had some scratching on initial nights, on the final night I was awake for most of it and came out in red bite marks on arms, legs & hands. I showed frontline staff. They asked if I wanted to see the manager which I didn't deem necessary because I had already reported it.

YHA Penzance fica em um ponto quieto e arborizado fora da cidade, com terrenos grandes, um lounge amplo, cozinha para self-catering e muitos chuveiros e banheiros. Quando esta em boa fase, o lugar e limpo, a equipe e simpatica e o cafe da manha recebe notas fortes. Parece mais uma base espalhada para viagem de carro ou parada em familia do que um hostel urbano compacto. O lado bom e o cenario; a troca e que a experiencia pode oscilar muito dependendo do quarto, barraca ou turno que voce pega.
Sinais para conferir
- E uma caminhada longa desde a cidade e complicado se voce nao tiver carro.
- Conforto e manutencao sao irregulares, com colchoes fracos, aquecimento ruim, chuveiros quebrados e percevejos na mistura.
- Barulho pode ser problema, especialmente de chegadas tarde, grupos, portas e espacos compartilhados a noite.
