I was super disappointed with the experience my friend and I had here. The hostel itself is beautiful and fun but we were really frustrated with the huge sanitary hazard we experienced. The first night we were there we found out that one of the beds in our room had bedbugs and that the hostel had been made aware of this before we checked in. They put 3 people in that bed in the time that we stayed and received complaints multiple times. Nothing was done until the day after our third night where they deep cleaned the entire room and determined that the room was infested. The whole room had to move out or find another hostel with very little notice beforehand. They did give us, as well as the others who were currently in the room or stayed in the room at some point, a full refund for our entire stay but the inaction and disregard on the hostels end is really hard to look past.

Super sociable hostel in great location- unfortunately, I got bed bug bites here, I informed the hostel immediately and they were not accommodating at all - they first responded with ‘Indonesia doesn’t have bed bugs’ which was really dismissive - I asked if I could have a laundry service done or treatment paid for which was followed by ‘sorry we don’t offer that’- again, extremely dismissive - a lovely rep gave me her anti itch cream but the reception staff didn’t seem to care- just a warning to people to check the sheets or stay elsewhere

O Farm Hostel é uma animada estadia em Canggu construída em torno de atividades noturnas, uma área de piscina e um espaço comum movimentado. É ideal para viajantes que querem um lugar fácil para conhecer pessoas e manter a noite em movimento. Os quartos são geralmente limpos e espaçosos, e algumas camas dos dormitórios têm cortina, luz e tomada. A localização funciona bem para Canggu, e a comida e as bebidas são muitas vezes acessíveis, o que dá ao lugar uma sensação de valor sólido pelo dinheiro. Há um lado duro da festa, por isso o humor pode ser intenso nos horários de pico. Mesmo assim, o albergue mantém uma regra de silêncio noturno em partes da propriedade, de modo que pode se adequar a pessoas que querem atividade durante o dia e uma base mais calma depois das horas.
Sinais para conferir
- A cena social pode parecer de camarilha e muito focada em beber, de modo que talvez seja mais adequada para viajantes extrovertidos do que para quem procura uma base tranquila.
- O barulho pode demorar, e dormir antes da meia-noite pode ser difícil quando o albergue está lotado.
- A limpeza é desigual em todas as estadias, especialmente nos banheiros, roupas de cama e toalhas.
- O pequeno-almoço é básico, não excepcional.
- Alguns quartos têm desvantagens práticas, tais como roupas finas, falta de água quente, banheiros abertos ou semi-abertos ou portas que não trancam.
