I was super disappointed with the experience my friend and I had here. The hostel itself is beautiful and fun but we were really frustrated with the huge sanitary hazard we experienced. The first night we were there we found out that one of the beds in our room had bedbugs and that the hostel had been made aware of this before we checked in. They put 3 people in that bed in the time that we stayed and received complaints multiple times. Nothing was done until the day after our third night where they deep cleaned the entire room and determined that the room was infested. The whole room had to move out or find another hostel with very little notice beforehand. They did give us, as well as the others who were currently in the room or stayed in the room at some point, a full refund for our entire stay but the inaction and disregard on the hostels end is really hard to look past.

Super sociable hostel in great location- unfortunately, I got bed bug bites here, I informed the hostel immediately and they were not accommodating at all - they first responded with ‘Indonesia doesn’t have bed bugs’ which was really dismissive - I asked if I could have a laundry service done or treatment paid for which was followed by ‘sorry we don’t offer that’- again, extremely dismissive - a lovely rep gave me her anti itch cream but the reception staff didn’t seem to care- just a warning to people to check the sheets or stay elsewhere

Il Farm Hostel è un vivace alloggio Canggu costruito attorno a attività notturne, una piscina e uno spazio comune molto frequentato. Si adatta ai viaggiatori che vogliono un posto facile per incontrare gente e far andare avanti la serata. Le camere sono spesso pulite e spaziose, e alcuni letti dei dormitori hanno una tenda, una luce e una presa. La posizione è molto conveniente per Canggu, e il cibo e le bevande sono spesso convenienti, il che dà al posto un solido rapporto qualità-prezzo. C'è un lato duro della festa, quindi l'umore può sembrare intenso nelle ore di punta. Anche così, l'ostello mantiene una regola di silenzio notturno in alcune parti della proprietà, in modo da poter soddisfare le persone che vogliono attività durante il giorno e una base più calma dopo le ore.
Segnali da controllare
- La scena sociale può sembrare di gruppo e molto focalizzata sull'alcol, quindi può essere più adatta a viaggiatori che cercano una base tranquilla.
- Il rumore può farsi sentire fino a tardi, e dormire prima di mezzanotte può essere difficile quando l'ostello è occupato.
- La pulizia è disomogenea in tutti i soggiorni, specialmente nei bagni, nella biancheria da letto e negli asciugamani.
- La colazione e' semplice, non eccezionale.
- Alcune stanze hanno degli inconvenienti pratici come lenzuola sottile, mancanza di acqua calda, toilette aperte o a metà aperte o porte che non si chiudono.
