The hotel and room were clean and everything in order. However, when I woke up, my body was covered in bedbugs bites—from my legs to my face. I slept in the bottom bunk of a bunk bed.

Place is disgusting, dirty rooms, they simply DO NOT change the bed clothes from one to other guests!!! The 1st room was full of hair in the beds and they changed me instead of cleaning, so, I got to other room even worse, as there are many small hairs or "pentelhos" in all the beds surfaces and they are really really dirty with yellow marks of unwashed. In one of the beds, they have the audacity to put the linen on the other side, so they can keep using instead of washing. We have itchy skin because the bed has bedbugs and fleas, of course, because the bed linen is not clean and the bed also. THE HEATING in the room does not work, so it is COLD !!!!.. The location is very dangerous neigborhood, not convenient even to cross and to walk short distance. Also, the employees at night are rude and stupid, may wish to find another job.

MEININGER Marseille Centre la Joliette é mais híbrido hotel-hostel do que cena backpacker: lobby grande, cozinha compartilhada, estrutura amigável para grupos, café da manhã, estacionamento e quartos simples perto de La Joliette, acesso ao metrô e Saint-Charles a pé ou de transporte. Pode funcionar para famílias, grupos escolares e viajantes que querem logística prática em Marselha sem preço boutique. O maior ponto positivo é a infraestrutura funcional. Nos melhores quartos, a estrutura pode ser limpa e moderna, com banheiros privativos, ar-condicionado, cozinha útil, grande área de jantar/lounge, lavanderia e equipe que ajuda em vários idiomas. Não é o lugar para uma cena local social profunda, mas pode ser uma base fácil se o básico encaixar. As trocas são barulhentas e repetidas. Paredes finas, grupos escolares, barulho de corredor, depósito de bagagem pago, café da manhã irregular, roupa de cama desconfortável e atrito com a equipe aparecem bastante. A área é útil, mas alguns viajantes se sentiram inseguros por ali à noite, especialmente mulheres viajando sozinhas.
