Fun nightly activities. Hostel had bugs in the bed. It has one of the better restaurants in Horseshoe Bay for convenience. Outdoor pool was locked for morning swims. Billiards table for 3$. No BYO. Free breakfast raffle (but only when enough people show up)

Had a really great stay in one of the private A frames. Then noticed I had about 50 bed bug bites- this is the only place we stayed at. Can’t confirm with certainty but please be aware

Really pretty hostel, nice atmosphere and people. Unfortunately, it was really dirty. Specially the bathrooms were disgusting, we saw a coacroach in the bethroom and the courtains had a lot of mold. Also I think I got bedbugs from there, as I was completely biten at night. Watch out for snakes, especially when you walk at night. For 100 AUD a night they could exchange the curtains from time to time... but the staff was really friendly and helpful!

Roamer was my first hostel and stop on my trip, but unfortunately, within the second morning of waking up, I had over 50+ bed bug bites. I immediately went to the front desk to show them the bites, as well as the blood stains all over the sheets. They are aware of the bed bugs and leave it be. Full review is on google reviews

Cozy hostel, Nice staff, But, and its a big But. There where bed bugs in my bed and i got over 70+ bites all over my body and i have never scratched so much in my life.

Vibe-Analyse
Fruehstueck mit Koalas und die Rainbow-Lorikeet-Fuetterung um 16 Uhr geben Bounce eine echte Magnetic-Island-Oddball-Kante. Das Hostel liegt in buschigem Setting mit Wallabies, Possums, Voegeln und gelegentlichen Koalas auf dem Gelaende, also ist der Naturteil nicht nur Deko. Die soziale Seite ist aktiv, ohne ein reiner Chaos-Bunker zu sein: Yoga, Trivia, Musikquiz, Pizza Night, Sip and Paint, Barnaechte und taegliche Aktivitaeten machen es leicht, in eine Gruppe zu rutschen, waehrend Cabins und Zimmer trotzdem ruhig und verteilt wirken koennen. Pool, Haengematten, Bar und Common Areas tragen eher ein entspanntes Island-Resort-Gefuehl als eine enge Dorm-Fabrik-Stimmung. Zimmer sind oft sauber und bequem, mit privaten Cabins, Dorms, Camping und Van-Spots im Mix. Die Kueche kann sauber und gut ausgestattet sein, Barfood und Kaffee koennen gut landen, und die Lage funktioniert gut fuer Horseshoe Bay, Bushaltestelle, The-Forts-Walk, Schnorchelausruestungsverleih und traege Strandtage.

- Das Dorm-Setup kann basic wirken, mit keinen Schliessfaechern, keinen Privatsphaere-Vorhaengen, begrenztem Taschenplatz und umstaendlichen oberen Betten in manchen Zimmern.
- Sauberkeit ist uneinheitlich, besonders rund um Gemeinschaftsbaeder, Schimmel, Abfluesse, Muelleimer, Bugs und staubige Betten.
- Essen- und Getraenkeservice kann uneinheitlich sein, mit manchen Mahlzeiten, die ueberteuert wirken oder kurz vor Schliesszeit nicht verfuegbar sind.
- Wi-Fi kann fleckig sein oder in Zimmern und Powered Sites fehlen.
- Campervan- und Caravan-Stellplaetze koennen eng sein, mit Strom- und Wasserzugang nicht immer bequem.
- Das Koala-Interaktionssetup passt moeglicherweise nicht zu Reisenden, die Hands-on-Wildlife-Tourismus vermeiden.
