Fun nightly activities. Hostel had bugs in the bed. It has one of the better restaurants in Horseshoe Bay for convenience. Outdoor pool was locked for morning swims. Billiards table for 3$. No BYO. Free breakfast raffle (but only when enough people show up)

Had a really great stay in one of the private A frames. Then noticed I had about 50 bed bug bites- this is the only place we stayed at. Can’t confirm with certainty but please be aware

Really pretty hostel, nice atmosphere and people. Unfortunately, it was really dirty. Specially the bathrooms were disgusting, we saw a coacroach in the bethroom and the courtains had a lot of mold. Also I think I got bedbugs from there, as I was completely biten at night. Watch out for snakes, especially when you walk at night. For 100 AUD a night they could exchange the curtains from time to time... but the staff was really friendly and helpful!

Roamer was my first hostel and stop on my trip, but unfortunately, within the second morning of waking up, I had over 50+ bed bug bites. I immediately went to the front desk to show them the bites, as well as the blood stains all over the sheets. They are aware of the bed bugs and leave it be. Full review is on google reviews

Cozy hostel, Nice staff, But, and its a big But. There where bed bugs in my bed and i got over 70+ bites all over my body and i have never scratched so much in my life.

Desayunar con koalas y la alimentación de lorikeets arcoíris a las 4pm le dan a Bounce un filo bien raro de Magnetic Island. El hostel está en un entorno boscoso con wallabies, possums, aves y koalas ocasionales por los terrenos, así que la parte de naturaleza no es solo decorado. El lado social está activo sin ser un bunker de caos puro: yoga, trivia, music quiz, noche de pizza, sip and paint, noches de bar y actividades diarias hacen fácil sumarse a un grupo, mientras las cabañas y habitaciones todavía pueden sentirse tranquilas y separadas. La piscina, hamacas, bar y áreas comunes llevan una sensación relajada de resort isleño más que de fábrica de dormitorios apretada. Las habitaciones suelen estar limpias y cómodas, con cabañas privadas, dormitorios, camping y espacios para vans en la mezcla. La cocina puede ser limpia y bien equipada, la comida del bar y el café pueden pegar rico, y la ubicación funciona bien para Horseshoe Bay, la parada de bus, The Forts walk, arriendo de equipo de snorkel y días flojos de playa.

- La configuración de dormitorios puede sentirse básica, sin lockers, sin cortinas de privacidad, con poco espacio para bolsos y literas superiores incómodas en algunas habitaciones.
- La limpieza es inconsistente, especialmente en baños compartidos, moho, desagües, basureros, bichos y literas polvorientas.
- El servicio de comida y bebida puede ser irregular, con algunas comidas sintiéndose caras o no disponibles cerca de la hora de cierre.
- El Wi-Fi puede ser irregular o ausente en habitaciones y sitios con electricidad.
- Los sitios para campervans y caravanas pueden ser estrechos, con acceso a electricidad y agua no siempre conveniente.
- La configuración de interacción con koalas puede no servir para viajeros que evitan turismo de fauna con contacto directo.
