Fun nightly activities. Hostel had bugs in the bed. It has one of the better restaurants in Horseshoe Bay for convenience. Outdoor pool was locked for morning swims. Billiards table for 3$. No BYO. Free breakfast raffle (but only when enough people show up)

Had a really great stay in one of the private A frames. Then noticed I had about 50 bed bug bites- this is the only place we stayed at. Can’t confirm with certainty but please be aware

Really pretty hostel, nice atmosphere and people. Unfortunately, it was really dirty. Specially the bathrooms were disgusting, we saw a coacroach in the bethroom and the courtains had a lot of mold. Also I think I got bedbugs from there, as I was completely biten at night. Watch out for snakes, especially when you walk at night. For 100 AUD a night they could exchange the curtains from time to time... but the staff was really friendly and helpful!

Roamer was my first hostel and stop on my trip, but unfortunately, within the second morning of waking up, I had over 50+ bed bug bites. I immediately went to the front desk to show them the bites, as well as the blood stains all over the sheets. They are aware of the bed bugs and leave it be. Full review is on google reviews

Cozy hostel, Nice staff, But, and its a big But. There where bed bugs in my bed and i got over 70+ bites all over my body and i have never scratched so much in my life.

Analisi dell'atmosfera
La colazione con i koala e il feeding dei rainbow lorikeet alle 16 danno a Bounce un vero taglio oddball da Magnetic Island. L'ostello sta in un setting bushy con wallaby, opossum, uccelli e koala occasionali intorno ai grounds, quindi la parte natura non e solo decor. Il lato sociale e attivo senza essere un bunker di puro caos: yoga, trivia, music quiz, pizza night, sip and paint, serate bar e attivita quotidiane rendono facile scivolare in un gruppo, mentre cabin e camere possono comunque sembrare quiete e distanziate. Piscina, amache, bar e aree comuni portano una sensazione rilassata da island-resort invece di un mood stretto da dorm-factory. Le camere sono spesso pulite e comode, con private cabins, dorm, camping e posti van nel mix. La cucina puo essere pulita e ben fornita, cibo del bar e caffe possono centrare il colpo, e la posizione funziona bene per Horseshoe Bay, fermata bus, The Forts walk, noleggio attrezzatura snorkel e giornate pigre in spiaggia.
Segnali da controllare
- Il setup dorm puo sembrare basico, con niente armadietti, niente tende privacy, spazio borse limitato e letti alti scomodi in alcune camere.
- La pulizia e incostante, soprattutto intorno a bagni condivisi, muffa, scarichi, cestini, insetti e letti polverosi.
- Il servizio cibo e drink puo essere irregolare, con alcuni pasti che sembrano troppo cari o non disponibili vicino all orario di chiusura.
- Il Wi-Fi puo essere patchy o assente in camere e piazzole powered.
- Le piazzole campervan e caravan possono essere strette, con accesso a corrente e acqua non sempre comodo.
- Il setup di interazione con i koala potrebbe non piacere ai viaggiatori che evitano il turismo wildlife hands-on.
