Beds are mostly capsule-style pods with curtains, charging points, shelves, towels, and storage drawers, so the sleeping setup can feel more private than a plain open bunk, even in large dorms. Some top pods and tight layouts can be awkward, especially for taller bodies or heavy luggage. This is a very crowded, long-stay-heavy place, with lots of workers and large French and Spanish-speaking groups. That can make the social scene feel cliquey rather than easygoing, and noise is a serious downside: late music, hallway chatter, early work alarms, street noise, and thin walls can all wreck sleep. Common areas and meal times can feel overloaded. Seats may run out, the kitchen can be unavailable during cleaning or meal prep, and self-catering is not always convenient. Cleanliness swings hard by area and timing; beds and showers can be fine, while bathrooms, carpets, dorm air, and shared spaces may be dirty, smelly, hot, or poorly ventilated.
