Decidimos no utilizar nuestra reserva ya que recibimos comentarios de otros turistas sobre la presencia de chinches y aseo deficiente en las habitaciones. Solicitamos la cancelación gratuita pero no la aceptaron. Presencia de plagas y aseo deficiente según otros viajeros.

Whatever you do, do not stay here. Worst hostel I have stayed. They supply you with one dirty blanket and I woke up itchy. Would not be surprised if there were bedbugs here. The only good thing is the location.

According to the comments I read before coming, we expected something really bad. But in reality it was clean, we didn't wait for check-in, there were no bed bugs, the covers had a sheet and we had towels. The location is perfect, there is noise but it's not terrible. The toilets, although shared, were clean. We would come back again!

The stuff was rude , the price overrated , the facilites wasn't good too small space for bathroom the matress wasn't good either too thin and worse of all I SAW A BED BUG CRRAWLING .

Si digo que es el peor hostel q fui en mi vida me quedo corto. Las habitaciones llenas de chinches, el personal es inepto y maltratador. Te complejizan todo y no te dan ningún tipo de solución. Hay 2 o 3 de los que trabajan que zafan. El resto de lo peor que he visto. Un desastre absoluto, por favor si leen este msj NO VAYAN!

TODO Buenas! El hostal es deplorable. No hemos podido dormir ni una sola noche de los ruidos en la calle (la ventana no cierra bien). Entendemos q es el centro, pero mínimo q lo tenga en cuenta el hostal tmbn y haga algo al respecto con el tema. Al estar en primera planta hace que el camión de la basura (por ejemplo) esté básicamente en la habitación. No cuesta tanto insonorizar un poquito. Tuvimos q dormir las tres personas q íbamos juntas cn auriculares, para no escuchar el ruido (no solo gente, el camión de la basura, la descarga de proveedores al bar d enfrente a la 5 am cn barriles metálicos …). Hacia frío (repito, la ventana no cierra) y pedimos mantas extras, la cuales no tenían y dieron una sabana fina la cual avisamos q no era suficiente y no hicieron nada. La manta en sí pequeña, vieja, de fieltro más duro que el esparto y sucia. Una de nosotras se ha levantado con un sarpullido por todas las piernas por culpa de la manta. Cuando nos quejamos y se lo enseñamos al de recepción nos dijo directamente “nosotros tenemos muy en cuenta el tema de las chinches” sin haber dicho yo nada de chinches. Después me di cuenta que efectivamente es un hostel con problemas de chinches. El colchón era una hoja de papel hundido con más años que yo. Las taquillas sin candado y rotas. Y no es que cogiésemos la habitación más barata del hostel… Por lo que hemos pagado por la habitación esperaba bastante más. Como le comenté al recepcionista, este mes hemos estado varias veces en Madrid y pagando más o menos el mismo precio por noche en diferentes hostels. Y este ha sido el peor con diferencia. Los trabajadores simpáticos, ahí pongo un punto a favor para ellos, pero se nota que tienen que ponerte mil excusas a todo lo que digas, por lo que acaban por no servir demasiado en cuanto a atención al cliente. No solo no volveré, sino que me da tremenda rabia haber pagado por estar durmiendo en ese lugar. Más barato, cómodo y silencioso irte a pasar la noche al Retiro.

La limpieza es aceptable.... pero mejorable....! Hay alguno polvo y los colchones estan viejos, no tienen protector...Mi habitación estaba llena de chinches, me han picado durante la noche....! Necesita de una desinfección completa. Las llaves tampoco funcionan muy bien, un día a las 5am he quedado tocando al timbre de los vecinos para abrir la puerta, una vez que la llave no funcionaba

It wasn’t really clean, 2 out of 4 toilets were not closeable. All in all it was very anonymous. There is no kitchen, just a sink and a microwave. You really need to secure your food in the kitchen as all of mine was stolen. It doesn’t look like on the photos. The worst thing was, that on the last day I found out that there were bedbugs. All in all not recomendable.

Bueno, ante todo mi experiencia fue una decepción,estafa, abusó,te mienten en tu cara, Mi reserva era una cama matrimonial,y al llegar dos literas, después de un viaje largo,y llegar al sitio y encontrarme con esta situación,tan ,perooo tan, CUTRE,me an cobrado dos noches, y al hacer el reclamo no me hicieron la devolución de nada Otra cosa para que lo tengan en cuenta , hay muchas chinches,huele muy mal , Servicio al cliente,FATAL

Luckily I couldn’t put zero star. Our room was infested with bedbugs. We all got bitten and even had a bad allergic reaction. Told the guy that was working at the reception and he requested me the email them so we could be refunded. Still waiting on their answer, it’s been a week !!! I would not recommend at all. The hygiene and cleanliness is clearly not a priority for them.

Habían chinches en la habitación (bedbugs) y muchos casos de ellos en varias habitaciones. Hace mucho frío y la manta que te dan es muy pequeña, el ruido de afuera es insoportable, el personal no te ayuda. muy mala experiencia

One of the room had bed bugs, in mine none but we could listen and see people complaining in the corridors and police around the hostel so I can't suggest this hostel as I was lucky to not get a room with problems, also half of the rooms wardrobes were broken

La habitación estaba infectada de chinches, el primer día me levanté con la espalda llena de picaduras, y el segundo día no dormí en mi habitación por los chinches, mi almohada estaba llena de pelos y sucia. Los cajones y muebles estaban llenos de chinches, al darnos cuenta nuestras maletas, mochilas estaban infectadas no lo recomiendo nada. Tengo fotos de todo, no las subo por qué son muy desagradables.

BED BUG INFESTATION. Do not stay here - this place is a health hazard. In addition to the creatures living in the beds and in the walls, the rooms are filthy, the windows don't close properly, and the staff cannot help you.

BEDBUGS, UNHYGENIC HELL HOLE - the place is crawling with bedbugs. Avoid at all cost!!!!! If only 0 stars were an option.

MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA. Lo peor: chinches en la habitación. BEDBUGS, y el peligro que estos suponen… cuando le reclamamos el de recepción insinuó que no sabía nada del tema y nos dijo que probablemente eran termitas (adjunto vídeos de los chinches), viendo que la mayoría de personas han reportado casos similares veo que es algo habitual en este hostal y el personal lo sabe perfectamente. El servicio en general es malo, espera de horas al entrar porque el sistema no funcionaba (algo común según estas reviews), la manta es pequeñísima y no abriga, el wifi no funciona bien… en fin… evitar a toda costa.

The bed bug infestation was the worst I've seen - they were crawling all over the walls, the mattresses and the floors. Our guests immediately left to find other accommodation as the hygiene standards were completely unacceptable. The staff were in complete denial about it, despite the multiple videos and photos we had (see attached). On top of that, when some of our guests returned to pick up some belongings, there were new people in the beds we had already booked and paid for.

The place was completely infested with bed bugs - in the mattresses, on the walls, floors etc. The reception staff at first admitted their "had been a problem" with bed bugs last month, but then completely denied it and claimed they were actually termites. Our group had to leave to find alternative accommodation. When some group members returned to the hostel to pick up belongings, they found that their beds were occupied, so the hostel had gone on to resell beds we technically already had booked. On top of that, they claimed we had taken keys and tried to charge us an extra €25 per key, despite the fact that we never even stayed at the hostel to begin with. An absolutely disgusting standard of cleanliness and I highly recommend you steer well clear.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Stayed here as part of a group of around 40 people for two nights but after the first night we all had to book a hotel room because of BED BUGS. The man at reception didn't seem to know what to do or care. The police showed even showed up in the middle of the night and the next morning. The window in our room also didn't close properly so I could hear people clearly outside all night especially at 5.30am when the nightclubs finished. There was also no hot water in the showers. I read the reviews from weeks ago about bed bugs and hoped the problem would be solved but save yourself alot of money and hardship by avoiding this place.

Estaba todo el hostel plagado de chinches. No nos dieron ninguna solución a más de 20 personas, para colmo, el encargado sin dar la cara dejando a un empleado solo para solucionar la situación a la una de la madrugada. Se los alargó la situación hasta las 4 de la mañana con policia y Samur de por medio, ya que mucho de los cliente tenían picaduras de chinches. Por otro lado las ventanas no cerraban. Madrid en febrero hace 5 grados. La limpieza pésima, suciedad por todos los lados. Las duchas daban asco y las mantas mejor ni describir las. Las chinches estaban en paredes y colchones.

Do not stay here if you value hygiene or a good nights sleep. The hostel was covered in bed bugs. A large group of us stayed and realised after getting into bed that there were bed bugs on the walls and the sheets. The man at reception didn’t know what to do as he was already dealing with numerous complaints about the same issue. In the end had to sleep sitting upright in a chair as I wanted to avoid the bed at all costs. Spend the extra €30 and book a hotel.

INFESTED WITH BED BUGS. I stayed with a group of 40. There were bed bugs in the 4 different rooms we slept in. We were woken at 2am because one of the girls saw some on the walls and then on all of the mattresses. The staff weren’t helpful at all and refused to offer us alternative accommodation and a refund, only helping us by giving us their info email. Do NOT stay here.

BEDBUGS!! Awful experience. Was woken up by my friends in the dorm to find bedbugs crawling on the walls and on our sheets. When we told reception there was another 2 groups of people complaining about the same issue. The man at reception couldn’t offer any solutions. Some girls left and had to book a hotel in the middle of the night. It was also cold and so noisy. Do not stay here!

LA PEOR NOCHE DE MI VIDA. Tiene chinches todo el alojamiento. Llegamos con problemas en el check-in, nos entregaron la habitación sin sábanas y una manta fina. Hace mucho frío y los trabajadores, salvado al chico joven de la noche, son arrogantes y repelentes. Cuando llegamos a la noche, después de ducharnos en un espacio con cuatro salidas de agua, fatal. A todo esto te cobran por todo, toallas, sabanas y cualquier cosa. VERGÜENZA. Lo peor fue a la hora de dormir, la pared, cama, armarios REPLETO DE CHINCHES. Coincidimos que muchos otros huéspedes le pasaba y estábamos todos en recepción reclamando y el jefe no se presentaba. Vino la policía y el SAMU, nos recomendó salir por nuestra Salud, el espacio no reunía las condiciones mínimas de higiene. Nos devolvieron el dinero y nos dejaron en la calle de Madrid a las 4:30h de la mañana. NO LO RECOMIENDO Y PIDO QUE NO VAYA NADIE.

Place has bed bugs!!!! Instantly left and had to book another hostel. Staff was not helpful or friendly. Huge waste of money unless you love sleeping and getting bitten by bed bugs

This was not a good place to stay in any way. There were bed bugs and someone called the police so I had to leave at 4am and scramble to find another place to stay.

Hay muchas cosas negativas pero se llevan la palma las chinches. Una amiga encontró manchas de sangre en el colchón, mató a un bicho (lleno de sangre) y vio a otro en la pared. Teniendo en cuenta la forma, sacamos la conclusión de que ¡eran chinches! Nos tocó lavar todo a 60º cuando llegamos a casa. Cuando lo dijimos en recepción la primera reacción fue decir que la foto no era de allí. Después de decirles que no íbamos a denunciarles ya anotaron el número de habitación y la cama donde se habían encontrado. El chico nos dijo que era nuevo y se disculpó en varias ocasiones. Tenemos dudas de si realmente hicieron algo para solucionarlo. Aparte de eso, el resto ya no tiene tanta importancia, pero el caso es que el sitio solo tiene dos baños de chicas para todas, que además son minúsculos, y cuatro duchas. Por otro lado, ten en cuenta de que hay que pagar por todo lo "extra" (es un sitio lowcost de manual), desde una toalla, el dejar las maletas después de irte, late checkout (si no, es a las 10.00 am). Esto último lo pedimos y lo pagamos pero se olvidaron de ponerlo en la tarjeta y después de las 10.00 ya no funcionaba para entrar a la habitación (afortunadamente siempre hay alguien en recepción para abrirte). Las paredes son de papel y se oye todo. Solo te dan una mantita para taparte, por lo que hay que abrigarse para dormir. Oye, pero muy bonitos los cuadros de los pasillos y hay una cocina y neveras por si quieres tomar algo allí :-), aunque no la probamos.

And the staff said there is nothing that can be done. I'm hoping for a refund at the minimum! Also, my room was on the main street. People in Madrid so not sleep. It was SO loud all night long and that's why I removed a location star rating

They have bed bugs and didn't offer to do anything about it when I told them, more of a shrug. Also they couldn't get to their towels for some reason so I didnt shower the whole weekend. Check in was a mess, seem like nice people but the place is gross and you share a bed with bed bugs

Lo peor el servicio...Rafael es el único que se libra, al menos en mi caso personal. No ponen sábanas y las mantas (finitas y cortas para alguien de 1.90...y para casi cualquier persona) parece que no las limpian entre un uso y otro y por eso está bastante infestado de chinches. Tenía frío y pedí otra manta pero me dijeron que no tenían (claro que tenían pero el servicio es así de pésimo). Cogí la de la cama de al lado que estaba vacía y por la mañana la simpática de la limpieza me reñía como si hubiese hecho lo peor de lo peor...menos mal que uno ya sabe defenderse en cualquier situación! Las duchas de un lado no tienen agua caliente y los baños pueden estar mejor conservados y más limpios. Si buscas situación céntrica, en eso sí está bien...pero llévate tapones si quieres dormir bien porque llega mucho ruido de la calle. La cocina no la usé...y la verdad que no hay mucho que usar. Yo no volveré y espero y creo que habrá sitios mejores en Madrid por el mismo precio...y no pienso probar ninguno de los demás de la "cadena"👎

Está lleno de chinches. Hay en los lockers, los pisos, en recepción les mostramos los nidos y fingieron que jamás las habían visto lo que indica una de dos: que no limpian o que saben que tienen chinches y no hacen nada al respecto. No nos quisieron devolver nuestro dinero y uno de recepción nos ofreció imprimirnos unos documentos gratis por los problemas, se fue, y la chica que atiende en la recepción imprimió todo mal y nos intentó cobrar.

Hay chinches, sus lockers están infestados. En Google reseñas hay un buen hablando sobre este problema y cómo el personal está enterado y no les importa. Nos quejamos con trabajadores y fingieron no saber nada y que reportáramos cuando varios clientes habían colocado reseñas el mismo día. Los baños sucios.

Pésima experiencia, empezando por la recepción, reciben de una manera horrible, durante el día nos íbamos a duchar y el agua fría, fui donde la recepcionista y me preguntó si ella tenía cara de ser de mantenimiento, si trabajas con público no puedes responder de esa manera, luego, las camas llenas de chinches, o mosquitos que picaban, el wifi no funciona en las piezas, solo en el comedor, hay una tasa para todo el hostel, pésimo todo.

Absolutely the worst hostel I have been in. I hated it so much and I felt dirty every second I was in the building. The locker assigned for my bed to hold my items didn’t work. People were stealing things. There were bedbugs. The staff had absolutely no urgency to help with the bedbug situation. I actually booked a second different hotel just so I could leave because it was so gross and dirty there. I never leave reviews and I redownloaded this app just so I could leave this review. SO GROSS

First i have stayed several times at this hostel as traveling for work , the reception staff act weird totally behaving strange and they are not helpful, last stay i got biten with bed bugs in one of the rooms they have changed my bed to another room to end up with bed bugs bites in the second room , i spoke with the guys in the reception to refund my stay after they have seen all the bites on my body they said you have to write an email ! Anyway they have no cleaning service at all
