   Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Do not stay here. In six months of travelling this is the worst hostel I’ve come across. Completely disorganised, filthy and so mismanaged that we walked out after one night of a four night booking. We booked a room with a private bathroom and on arrival we were shown to a small, unclean room with no bathroom. Literally the bed wasn’t made, someone else’s charger was still there, it was like another guest was still mid-stay. We were left standing in the hallway for an hour while we waited for the owner to arrive and sort it out… he never showed. They ended up telling us there was a leak in the room we booked so we’d have to stay in the small dirty room for the first night. There was a religious festival on in town when we arrived so there was literally nothing else available and we had no choice but to accept the room we were given. A volunteer cleaner did remake the bed, however the shared bathroom facilities were so disgusting we couldn’t even shower, let alone go near the shared kitchen given the state of it. The next morning another volunteer confirmed what we suspected - there was another guest staying in the room we originally booked. They double booked. The leak was a lie. Not only that, when we went online to find somewhere else to stay, we saw the room we had booked advertised on other platforms so it’s pretty clear they use that to get you in and give you a worse room. Absolute scam. I can see now other reviews have said the same. Unfortunately, we gave it the benefit of the doubt because it had an eight star on Hostel World. I have no idea how it got that. Don’t bother staying here even if it’s cheap. So many better options around town if you book ahead.

   One dorm doesn’t have a dorm and my perfume got stolen. Could be a bit cleaner, but the staff ans location is really nice. Good enough for a short stay in Antigua

   • multiple guest’s paid bed was reassigned while out, and belongings were moved.
   • I returned one night to find someone else sleeping in my bed due to double-booking, and the staff refused to refund me even though I had nowhere to sleep (If my friend hadn’t have been there, I don’t know where I would have gone).

   Avoid this hostel. I returned one night to find someone else sleeping in my bed due to double-booking, and the staff refused to refund me even though I had nowhere to sleep (If my friend hadn’t have been there, I don’t know where I would have gone). This wasn’t just a one off either —multiple guest’s paid bed was reassigned while out, and belongings were moved. When I asked for a refund, a member of staff suddenly pretended not to speak English despite speaking it fluently the day before. The cheap price isn’t worth the hassle or disrespect.

   Wouldn’t recommend this hostel. I came back one night to find someone else in my bed because they double-booked it, and the staff still refused to refund me. It wasn’t just me either—other guests had their beds reassigned and stuff moved. When I asked for a refund, the staff member who spoke perfect English the day before suddenly pretended not to understand.

   DO NOT STAY HERE! A man came into our dorm room at 6am and tried to climb into a girl’s bed. He was very drunk and kept harassing her until a guy who was staying in the room asked him to leave. I have now seen other reviews that say this happens a lot and the man is a member of staff?? Bathrooms and kitchen really dirty and unpleasant.

   A drunk man came into our dorm at 6:30am when everyone was asleep. He sat down on a girls bed, looked over her curtain and started talking to her. He wouldn't leave her alone until a guy woke up and told him to leave. Could have been a very dangerous situation if nobody else was staying in the dorm. I'm not sure if he works at the hostel but there are other reviews about an aggressive drunk member of staff. Wouldn't recommend staying here especially if you are a woman traveling alone.

I found out later that he was a member of staff and he regularly does this?? Really dirty bathrooms and kitchen too. Only positive was that a nice man at reception helped me break my lock when it got stuck.

   booked into 6 bed dorm for 5 nights. When we got there got told we had to move after one night into a 4.we moved there was loads of food and bowls and clothes just scattered in there.1 women in there. back after a night out at about 11 a man came in and out many times which was confusing. Then the women and a cat left the bed and he got in. Then the women cat and man got in the same bed. lost my jacket then 3 days later the bloke at reception had it on! I got the jacket back! Weird experience
