Struttura molto pulita e profumata.

Preventive measures about bedbugs, really very very clean

Nice hostel 20 minutes walk from the old town near the supermarkets and local cafes, bars. The facilities are great: there's a kitchen with all you need to cook, lots of space to seat and eat, the bathrooms are specious, there're hairdryers, a laundry room, the duvets are warm. As many had reviewed before: as a preventive measure of the bedbugs, the backpacks are not allowed in the room.

This is probably one of the best hostels I have ever been to. Miguel and his colleague are the friendliest people, they really welcome you, they remember your name and check in with their guests while they are there. It is a small hostel but that makes it a really familiar/friendly place. Hygiene is taken super serious here (in a very good way), which is great when you are hosting people who have spent 4-6 weeks on the camino and have been to 30+ hostels on their way. Beds are all metal, pillows and mattress have rubber toppings and backpacks are not allowed in the rooms and have to stay in a locker in the hallway. Means it is as bed bugs safe as you can make it in a hostel and also makes sleeping more hygienic. Also annoying behaviour like loudly unpacking or packing plastic bags, zipping your backpack 10 times at 5 am in the morning is avoided, since you have to do it outside the rooms. And the rooms stay tidy too. Breakfast is typical Spanish breakfast. I left super early on my departure date and got offered to take whatever I wanted since I couldn't have regular breakfast, which was really sweet. There are several supermarkets close by where you can get food and drinks to cook in the, also super clean, kitchen. Bathrooms are really clean and there is enough space for clothes and wash bags while showering etc. Would definitely recommend this place as your final stay in Santiago. If you walked alone you'll also meet plenty of other pilgrims to share experiences with and not feel alone after finishing the camino :) Not a disadvantageous thing for me, but it is not particularly central within the city of Santiago. It takes about 20 mins walking to the cathedral/city centre. At the same time it is very quiet outside, though.

Miguel and Agosto were wonderful hosts, as pilgrims they deeply understand the pilgrim experience and went out of their way to make our stay special. I loved the excellently-equipped kitchen set up for Camino story-sharing (a generous breakfast is included), the spotless bathrooms (piping hot showers with lovely hand soap and shower gel provided) and comfortable bunks with charging plug & reading lights. Keeping bags in lockers outside the bedroom minimises the risk of bedbugs, so impressed by this! Plus I adored the canvas photos on the walls, they brought back so many happy memories! I guess you could say it’s a little walk from the centre but are we really going to complain about that having walked the Camino?!

The hostel is on the Camiño. Not too close to the historical center but not far at all. It's in an area of Santiago with all the facilities you need: restaurants & caffè bar. supermarkets, laundry, 2 minutes walking to bus stop. Hosts are welcoming and very kind. Breakfast is great, and the kitchen and refrigerator are available. I really really liked the rules you must follow to keep the room clean and to avoid bedbugs. I would suggest adding curtains around the bunkbeds.

A very very friendly hospitalero. Felt Welcome and get some of the Camino spirit. Rare in Santiago! Very good system: Backpacks in a locker outside the room (because of bed Bugs). Clean and beautiful kitchen. Perfect. Could be a little cheaper because in this price category are some single rooms available in Santiago.

Very nice and friendly stuff. Helped me to call the taxi in the morning, when I couldn’t find the bus stop. The most probably there were bed bugs. Not sure exactly, as I stayed in the hostels before. Maybe it’s from the previous one.
