Palma Port Hostel

Very disappointing stay. We stayed in the 10-bed dorm and discovered bed bugs. Two friends woke up during the night covered in bites and had to sleep in reception. We messaged the hostel, but the only reply was that someone would be at reception at 9 a.m. By the next morning, the other seven of us had also woken up covered in bites. We then had to find last-minute accommodation, which was stressful and very expensive, especially as we were only in Palma for two nights.The bathrooms were also not clean—my sister found a cockroach in her shower, and mine had lots of little flies. After several emails, the hostel refunded our stay, which was fair and appreciated. However, it was still a terrible experience overall, and I wouldn't stay here again.

My bunk had bed bugs! Also I saw a worm on the wall in the shower. The place appeared clean but bed bugs and worms in the facility is insane. I do not recommended this place.

La habitación me parecio muy poco práctica. El hostal esta ubicado en el primer piso de un edificio, sin embargo la habitación esta un poco por debajo del nivel del suelo, y tiene ventanas en toda la parte superior de la pared que da al exterior. Cuando las personas de la calle pasan por frente del hostal se escucha todo el ruido de la calle. Así mismo al parecer tienen un problema con acaros o chinches de cama, al principio pensé que eran picaduras de mosquitos, luego hablando con otras personas me dicen que no hay casi mosquitos. Revisando mas en detalle, las picaduras que tengo coinciden más con chinches de cama.

El baño y las duchas eran cutres y no estaban en buenas condiciones. Había chinches en la cama. La habitación no tenía ventana a la altura de los ojos, era un semisótano sin mucha ventilación. A las 9 de la noche, estaba apagado el termo de agua caliente, Las toallas cuesta 4 euros por el alquiler.

A una de las 2 nos picaron chinches o pulgas y tiene que ser de ahí porque estuvimos solo una noche en Mallorca y anteriormente veníamos de dormir en nuestra casa.

Ich wurde am ganzen Körper von Bettwanzen zerstochen, deshalb kann ich das Hostel niemandem empfehlen, da das sicher kein Einzelfall ist!

There bed bugs all over the place and they bit me like everywhere this is the problem.

The number of toilets and showers is kinda small for the amount of guests, so sometimes the bathroom would get super busy and they weren’t so private. But they were always clean or if dirty someone would come and clean fast.

Our beds had bed bugs so the next day we where full of bites. Since those take some time to show up we didn’t know until later in the day when we had already left Palma. I called them to tell them about it and what I got was a rant about how precisely our room got fully renovated after we left and if they were bed bugs at some point we should have told them right away. Let alone get our money back, we didn’t even get an apology. We had to wash all of our clothes and had this bites for days. Better to spend some extra money and stay somewhere else.

I visited in October 2022. The vibe is nice. You are going to meet people and have fun. Most travellers are aged between 20s and 30s. The beds, however, are thin and quite uncomfotable. They have old wooden bunk beds, so it makes a squeaky sound each time you turn. The guy who slept on the top bunk was a big lad. I thank the universe for the fact that it didn't collapse on me. The hostel also has a big problem with flies, fleas, bed bugs. Many of us got bitten. The location is ideal. The hostel is near many points of interests and other amenities. The staff members are friendly. I'm going to give a 3 because generally I had a fantastic time. I hope they can take the feedback onboard and improve. A message for my friend Diego who works at the hostel. Please, learn how to use a computer. It will make your life easier.

Albergue normalito, solo estuvimos para pasar una noche en Palma. A mi pareja le picaron chinches… Supongo que es lo que tiene que vayan y vengan tantas personas. Personal amable y atento. Baños limpios.

Muy mala experiencia, no vayan, hay chinches en las habitaciones. Terminamos 5 amigas picadas, teniendo que ir a urgencias. Un desastre!

PÉSIMO, NO VAYAN.realmente asqueroso Vinimos 10 amigas y la mitad nos vamos con picaduras y ronchas, las camas tienen chinches, a dos les dio reaccion alergica, estamos desde el segundo dia rascandonos y teniendo que ponernos cremas, no pudimos dormir bien. Ahora de vuelta en Barcelona dos terminaron en urgencias por la reaccion alergica, ronchas en todo el cuerpo y cara. Para reintegrarnos dinero y dejarnos conformes nos hicieron anular la reserva de booking, por eso es que en booking la puntuación es tan alta, a la gente con reclamos le anulan la reserva y entonces no se pueden poner una mala reseña. No nos reembolsaron todo. Aparte de todo eso hay malos olores en los baños por cloacas o encierro, las puertas de las duchas no cierran bien. A una de las chicas le sobrealquilaron su cama, llego el segundo dia y se la habian dado a otra persona, tardaron en solucionarlo. El aire acondicionado lo tienen, pero apagado durante todo el dia, lo prenden. a las 21hs asique las habitaciones al llegar son un horno. Claramente no volveremos. Update: Si bien seguimos bastante tiempo más con ronchas y picazón , el dueño del hostel , Gonzalo, que no estaba cuando sucedió todo, se puso en contacto con nosotras por teléfono para pedir disculpas , lo cual fue un gesto amable y siguió nuestro proceso. Nos reembolsaron finalmente a las diez todo el dinero de las noches en el hostel por los problemas ocasionados.

Organice mis vacaciones para relajarme y pasar un momento agradable, y este lugar hizo de mi experiencia la peor de mi vida, en la primera noche acabe picada por chinches a las cuales soy alérgica, me toco gastar el doble buscando un hotel a ultimo momento.. tengo el cuerpo lleno de ronchas y de picaduras. Considero que deberían de tener más cuidado con este tipo de cosas ya que no solo causa picaduras , si no se que te las puedes llevar a casa
