Bed bugs

Hi, I had a very troubling experience during my stay at the property. The staff was rude and made me feel uncomfortable, ultimately refusing my accommodation based on their judgment after looking at my passport. I was told I would receive a refund in five days, but this leaves me without funds for safe accommodation. I felt bullied and vulnerable during this encounter. What's more I developed hives after the stressful experience either from bedbugs and items taken. Black girl was lovely and should get promoted as manager as the manger was very mean.

The room has over 20 bunk beds. Got bed bugs! No air conditioning. Cold. One shower and toilet for more than 20 people.

The reception staff were kind. However the manager was short and unhelpful. Our stay was cut short due to bed bugs. We were ensured we’d receive our refund within 5-10 days. Its been 2 months and still have yet to see the refund.

My uncle was staying there and encountered dangerous insects like bedbugs and bed bugs. after 4 days he and other people were kicked out without them paying the rest of the payment back, this hostel has serious problems with infections and I would like to be reimbursed for the 2 days

Avoid this place – terrible experience and zero accountability I stayed at St. Christopher’s Inn Village in London and had a horrible experience. My room was infested with bedbugs, which left me with painful, itchy bites all over my body. When I reported the issue, the staff initially responded but quickly shifted the blame, suggesting that I may have brought the infestation—an insulting and baseless claim, considering I am a clean and hygienic person. To make matters worse, after promising to investigate and refund my final night, they’ve now gone completely silent and are ignoring my follow-up emails. I booked through Booking.com and my only hope is that they can intervene and reach a fair resolution. After all of this I would be happy to receive a full refund and as a result I would never step foot on any of their establishments in any cities of the world. This has been extremely stressful, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I strongly advise against staying here—there is no sense of accountability or basic respect for guests’ wellbeing.

Me picaron chinches que tenia mi cama, las camas en litera con tres niveles son muy incomodas, no había privacidad, había personas que hacían bastante ruido y no pude descasar, asi como hubo un hombre que se estuvo tocando mientras estuvo en su cama durante la noche

Digital key gave me stress especially when I had to go to shared bathroom and go back to the dorm. There were no towels to borrow. I felt kind of bedbugs…

They ran out of clean towels I got bitten by bed bugs I dislike having to use a phone app as a key

Unfortunately, my bed had bed bugs. I woke up at 3am itchy and red. They did not put up a fight to change my bed to get through the rest of the night. But ugh, I took a picture of one right in the middle of my pillow gross. My bed in room 102 is right about a club that plays techno until 2am. Even with ear plugs you can hear it and it pulses through the floor.

There is a bed bug on the bed, the bathroom is so small.

Bedbugs! Which was confusing because everywhere looked so clean, which makes it a really tough one to rate. There is no kitchen and the 'common area' was all the way on a high floor and very small so not really practical to use. Not ideal if you are on a budget and plan on staying in London for a while as you can't make your own meals.

There were bedbugs in the bed and I woke up completely bitten in the morning. I had never experienced this in any accommodation in my life. It was horrible. the hotel has to be more careful with hygiene as this is unacceptable. I'm traumatized.

Bed bugs problem. I reached out to management and reception without an answer. Email to management didn’t work as I received undelivered message.

Stayed in Dec 2023 and two days later came out in dozens of bedbug bites all over my arms and back. Would not stay again or recommend to anyone because of this. Free earplugs, but music was thumpingly loud until about 12 to 1am. Woke up at 7am to find the bathroom coated in vomit.

we did unfortunately find some bedbugs in the bed while we stayed there which the staff were awesome about washing our things! Though the toilets and bathrooms weren’t the cleanest/topped up with tp and we were really disappointed with the kitchen facilities as we thought maybe it could be a bit more outlined

Établissement désastreux. Lits infestés de punaises de lit. L’auberge en a conscience et ne lave même pas les draps entre les voyageurs. Jamais vu sanitaires aussi sales. Vols pendant la nuit. Fuyez.

- bed bugs in the bunk - strangers got access to the hostel and dorms who weren’t staying - I got moved rooms due to maintenance and then not compensated when I paid more for less - the blankets were damp in the capsule rooms

Noise levels from the bar/club below the capsule room was unbearable and went on until 3 am. Even with earplugs and headphones over the top. No sleep for entire stay. The bathrooms had no windows and were like saunas. Only one unbroken sink in a bathroom for 26 beds. Also had several bites, consistent with bed bug bites I’ve had years ago in a rental flat. Cockroach in the bathroom too.

Tienen una plaga de chinches que me afectó gravemente, en la semana del 31 de Julio al 5 de Agosto fui atacado en la habitación 109 por esos insectos, me trasladaron a la habitación 104 pero ya el daño estaba hecho. Había reservado del 6 al 8 de Agosto pero no hice check-in porque estaba súper enfermo por una afección de picaduras de chinches de la cual me estoy recuperando. Solicito que me devuelvan el dinero.
