  3. Confirmed Booking.com

However, there are some issues. On the 5th floor, the shower water was cold, and on the 3rd floor, the shower is broken—you have to hold it as it's not mounted on the wall. If you have two consecutive bookings, they won’t allow you to stay in the same room, which feels like unnecessary inconvenience. The lift only goes up to the 3rd floor. Rooms and bathrooms are quite clean but very small, without even a small desk. I did see a few insects, though they didn’t appear to be bed bugs. There’s no staff on-site, cost-saving for the hotel. Only one shared toilet per floor. It's unclear if they allow luggage drop-off. Very noisy as no rules are posted on the doors and walls are thin, and guests are inconsiderate of others. Given these factors, the price could be lower.

Vibe Analysis

Saturdays is a central Lisbon base for travelers who want location, a simple room, and a shared kitchen/bathroom setup more than a hostel scene. The useful parts are straightforward: easy access to the city, self check-in, some clean bathrooms, enough kitchen gear for basic meals, and rooms that can work if you plan to spend most of the day outside. Treat it like a basic crash pad, not a built-in crew. Staff presence can be minimal, and the building has a lot of practical friction: stairs, elevator quirks, shared bathrooms, hot rooms in summer, cold rooms in winter, and noise from the street, bar, hallways, doors, and neighboring rooms. Best fit: independent travelers who want Lisbon nearby and can handle a stripped-down stay. If you need quiet sleep, hands-on reception, air conditioning, reliable heating, or hotel polish, this one has too many repeated warning lights.
