The rooftop terrace is the best part of Check Inn B&B Cuenca: wide city views, breakfast in the open air, and a useful perch above the old center. The location is very central, close to the main plaza, shops, cafes, pharmacies, restaurants, and walkable Cuenca sightseeing. The building has an old-school feel, including a vintage elevator, but the practical setup is very basic. Rooms may be sparse, dated, dark, or missing outside windows, and bathrooms are shared rather than private. In parts of the building, reaching the toilet or shower can mean going to another floor.
