It was a total letdown as conflicting and confusing response was given regarding late check in after 6pm and late check out email request. A full day's charge for late check out was applied for abysmal poor hygienic stay, when confusing response had stated no extra charge. Apparently, only one query was answered and not the 2nd part of late check out. When the response was seen, it was assumed that late check out was acceptable as who would think that a hotel would charge additional for late check in ??? This appears to be s deliberate confusion and unfortunately left a very bad experience. We would never suggest this hotel to anyone and they should change the Grand name that they have given as there is nothing Grand about it! There were bed bugs and some bins were not even emptied from when the previous guests had left. The flask in the room was disgustingly dirty and a request was made to remove it immediately.

The Grand Suites sits mostly on the fourth floor of a small building, with compact rooms and a small restaurant rather than a full hostel-style common setup. The strongest practical win is location: Gandhigram metro station, the riverfront, CG Road, Ashram Road, and Navrangpura are all treated as easy nearby anchors. Tuk tuks can be found outside, and the area works especially well for a short city stop where transit matters more than hanging out. Rooms can feel modern, newly renovated, clean, and basic-comfortable, with good bedding, bathrooms, showers, tea and coffee items, and food from the kitchen landing well at times. Staff help is mixed: there are warm, responsive moments, including special food support and WhatsApp help, but also blunt service, confusion around policies, language friction, and slow fixes. This is not a social base. It is a small city hotel with tight rooms, limited shared space, and uneven operations. Go in for location and a simple room; be cautious if you need space, reliable breakfast, parking, storage, or polished service.
