This place was swarming with bed bugs in at least 2 dorms and a private room. The staff didn't seem to care. Except for this, the staff was friendly but unhelpful, they were not interested at all in assisting with my questions. Upsides are the rooftop terrace and the great location though. With some changes it could become a good hostel, but right now I can't recommend it.

BED BUGS + BAD STAFF. I along with a few other guests actually found bed bugs in both shared dorm room and private rooms. Informed the staff on different occasions but they ignored. Throughout our stay the staff were unhelpful, confusing and simply unprofessional. When we checked out on the last day and brought it up again they walked off without talking to us about it. No apologies, explanations or even defending themselves. What we experienced doesn’t align with the name of the hostel.

  3. Confirmed Google Maps

BED BUGS. Out of a dorm and friends in a private we found bed bugs in atleast 5 beds. Owners response was "oh ok". Owner is super unhelpful and doesn't care. Location is great though.

Vibe Analysis

Friendly is built around a peaceful inner courtyard with plants, traditional seating, and all-day tea. It feels more like a restored Yazd house than a standard hostel: calm, central, budget-friendly, and easy to use as a base for the old city. The Jameh Mosque, bazaar, and main historic sights are within a short walk. The social side is low-key rather than party-heavy. Evenings can gather around tea, the courtyard, or the rooftop, and the place works well for travelers who want conversation without a loud hostel circuit. Motorbike parking has been available, and the team can help with buses, taxis, local trips, and onward transport. Rooms are usually simple, clean, and comfortable, with private rooms, dorm space, air conditioning in parts of the property, and good value for the location. Breakfast can be a real plus, especially when served on the rooftop, though it is not perfectly consistent. The best fit is a traveler who wants old-town Yazd, a gentle courtyard rhythm, helpful humans, free tea, and a traditional-house feel more than polished hotel systems.
