So amazingly dirty. People got bedbugs, and staff and owner did nothing really about it.

3 stars - it's ok. Rooms are subpar - somewhat unclean, I can confirm there are bed bugs (although I was provided with a sheet that mitigated against this), bathroom is pretty dirty & no WiFi is provided. The room was beside the kitchen so a little noisy at times, but not bothersome in late hours. There were some holes in the walls which was a little concerning but the accommodation has cats to deter any rats or insects. By the looks of things the private room is worth the price difference to the dorm room (the fan in my room worked decently well). Service was fine - helpful with some initial advice, there's also useful information on the entrance wall about tours, geography of Dili, transport companies etc. I was never hungry for the included breakfast but never saw what this actually was, so can't comment on it. Location - pretty good. 10 minutes walk from a mall with food court which also has ATMs. The microlet number 9 route into Dili is only about 2 minutes walk from the property. Close to airport if you're flying in and out. If I was advising someone I would probably suggest they try to find alternatives over this accommodation because the rooms/facilities are disappointing. If you're not a fussy person like me about some hygiene issues this will probably be serviceable as a last resort for your limited time in Dili.

The host says they are not good at divination. They are also not so skilled at maintaining a hostel. Non-breakfast, on a street with loud dogs, no AC, grime, uncomfortable beds, I have heard tell from some of bedbugs. Especially considering the better options at the same price closer to the beach, with friendlier guests and generally helpful and relaxed attitude, I cannot recommend anyone stay here. Same area, closer to the beac, you will find at least 1 alternative to this place.
