Full reviewUnfortunately, our stay at Kita Hostel was very disappointing. The room was not cleaned upon arrival – there was dust and hair everywhere, the beds were not made, and many surfaces felt generally dirty and poorly maintained. The toilets and showers had no locks, and several showers were broken. The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear everything from outside. The staff was very inexperienced and often didn’t know how to handle situations. We had to contact the manager multiple times to get any assistance. One staff member even entered our room without knocking, which was completely inappropriate. Upon arrival, our reserved room had been given to someone else, even though we booked well in advance, and we were given a completely different room with almost no compensation. Toilet paper was rarely refilled, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Overall, this is a hostel that seems to have no proper cleaning routines and staff who are not trained for their roles. If we had been informed in advance about the room change or the state of the hostel, we would never have booked. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Kita Hostel.

Full reviewworst hostel I have stayed in. Check in took a very long time as they had overbooked our room. Staff was rude and claimed they didnt know anything cause they were "only volunteers". We got a worse room for a small price difference and the room was dirty when we arrived. The toilets were dirty and most of them were out of toilet paper in the evenings. several toilets/showers had broken lock so you couldnt lock them. One of the staff opened our door twice without knocking.
