Full reviewThe staff hours were not working for people checking in, we had to help new guests. The guy working in the evening was terrible and when I arrived, there had been a drunk guy on drugs with a knife not even staying at the hostel harassing a girl, the guy working there only cared about finding out if he had payed and didn’t care for the people that was scared

Beaucoup de Tapage par internet écran techno haut volume. Immigration moralité sulfureuse.vol de matériels téléphone par immigré résident en l absence du responsable Le responsable est très correct. Fille de ménage très bien technicien responsable à l écoute et gestion. Plus tard je reviendrai après la fin de tout ça. Chambre magnifiqure

Full reviewAdvantages: - cheap - good location - kitchen with full amenities Disadvantages: - tiny bathrooms - weird vibes at the hostel - hostel room door does not lock itself - hostel room lockers not very secure so someone can easily steal stuff - no reception at hostel lobby 24/7 - towel not provided on the bed so if someone arrives and there is no reception, one has to wait untill a reception guy comes to shower (if without a towel)

Full reviewJust now leaving for paphos and hope to book with you but just to say the room had about 18 beds bunk beds many people arrive from India all immigrants rooms were overcrowed poor sanctions for so many people also a man his money was stolen he had mental health sad and my night dress went missing would not recommend this hostel

Full review- The view on the rooftop is nice. - Me and my 6 other friends got stolen for about 2000 euros in stuff and cash IN OUR LOCKERS. 3 other french people we met there also lost 160 euros in cash. The lockers were really cheap and with one key I could open mine and my friend's one. They didn't find the thief. - Everyday, we were woken by the cleaner at 9am who washed the floor with a terrible smell of bleach. - the bed covers kept coming off when we were sleeping, leaving us with a bare mattress

Do not leave any money in hostel, do not trust anyone including a person from reception (Hopefully he understands my message)(Not Neil or Colombian guy,other one)......THIEF. I went to police unfortunately they can't do anything because no camera on the Bedroom. One of the gypsies might be taking(Italian,Spanish) Whoever stole my money:God gives him/her trouble non cure able.Make him cancer,not having a kid or somebody they love dies. Malta and their people are fantastic. It's amazing place,I don't have a problem with Maltese people. I am very upset about what happened.Thief turned my holiday into disaster. Sorry...

Full review-Nice place with great people, but too much theft. In the two weeks of me being there a MacBook, 6 air buds, 2 go pros, 1000€, and several watches were stolen out of peoples locked lockers. -The bartender always seemed drunk or hungover, would barely stock the bar, and was highly inappropriate to the girls. To the point no one used the patio after 2000 -AC was unreliable and most nights I would wake up sweating. Plus the AC is only turned on from 2200-1000 meaning it’s impossible to sleep in.

Full reviewThis hostel was not it. The security was poor, I had multiple things stolen from my “locked” locker. The beds were extremely uncomfortable waking up multiple times during the night with springs digging into my back. Not only this but the aircon was only allowed on from 10pm-10am (if you’re lucky and if the power doesn’t go out). You will wake up in sweats constantly feeling dirty. Overall would not stay hear again or recommend it to anyone.

Full reviewMalta is extremely hot in summer yet the hostel only had the air con’s on overnight (if you’re lucky), so you were lucky to sleep and permanently sweating even inside. The security of the hostel was terrible - locked lockers could be opened and you never felt like your belongings were actually secure and multiple people had valuables stolen from them during my stay. The rooftop area was good but that’s where the positives about the hostel ended. Would not recommend staying here to anyone

Full reviewSocial atmosphere with the roof top bar, met some really great people. However, security was terrible. Multiple people had things stolen from their locked lockers because they were not secure and could fit a whole arm inside. Cash, watches, and airpods were stolen. The AC is only turned on after 8pm and sometimes not until 10pm despite it being over 30degrees, with no fans in the room made it very difficult to get ready or do anything really.

Full reviewThe location and beds were very good and comfortable. The AC worked amazingly and thr hostel has a really nice rooftop to chill on. The bathrooms are to tiny and they need a renovation very bad. There is only three toilets in the whole hostel. While I was staying there I also got my laptop stolen from my drawer… that is not the hostels fault tho, but they still lack some saftey measures…

Full reviewOs funcionários (limpeza, recepção e etc) eram muitos legais e atenciosos. Foram a única parte muito positiva que posso ressaltar! The staff (cleaning, reception, etc.) were very nice and caring. They were the only very positive part I can highlight! O banheiro era bem sujo, inclusive cheguei a ver baratas lá dentro e nem consegui entrar para tomar banho. Péssima segurança! Aconteceu um roubo dentro do hostel por falta de segurança e atenção. Roubaram dinheiro de alguns hóspedes e passaportes também. O dono do hostel não deu qualquer suporte ao acorrido, e quando foi questionado sobre a segurança do hostel, ele disse que não era culpa dele e que não tinha o que fazer (as portas do hostel e os quartos ficavam sempre abertas, sem senhas e sem funcionários na recepção). O hostel é extremamente radical com a economia de água, luz e etc. as luzes do quarto se apagam a cada quinze minutos e você precisa ficar acendendo toda hora. Mesma coisa acontece com o banheiro (as vezes você tá tomando banho e precisa sair pra acender a luz de novo, horrivel). Na cozinha também a luz se apaga toda hora. Repensem bastante ao escolherem o Malti! Tivemos muitos problemas, zero suporte e, de todos os hostels que já me hospedei (cerca de 20) esse foi o pior. Ao dono do hostel, chamado Cris: saiba ouvir os hóspedes e assumir seus erros. _________________________ The bathroom was very dirty, I saw cockroaches inside and I couldn't even get in to take a shower. A robbery happened inside the hostel due to lack of security and attention. They stole money from some guests and passports too. The hostel owner did not provide any support to the guests, and when he was asked about the hostel's security, he said that it was not his fault and that there was nothing he could do (the hostel doors and rooms were always open, without passwords and no staff at reception). The hostel is extremely radical in terms of saving water, electricity, etc. They turn off the room’s light every 15 minutes and you have to keep turning them on all the time. The same thing happens in the bathroom (sometimes you're taking a shower and you have to go out to turn the light on). In the kitchen, it also happens all the time.

Full reviewBasic and wouldn't book to stay again Neil at the desk was friendly and very helpful staff were eager to please. good location, close to buses&nice beaches. Hostel itself was spotlessly clean security of the hostel was terrible. Staff and guests regularly left the door open, and the front desk is left unmanned for many hours of the day and in the night. It is gloomy and dark. Cleaning staff don't knock on the door, just enter as they please. Drunk people walking at night - no receptionist or security guy at night who would have any control over the place. Sleeping people, probably drunk, on the couch near the reception in the morning. Vomit on the toilet door and in an unflushed toilet found in the morning! Found some characteristic bites on my feet that turns out to be from bed bugs (!!!) as my doctor said 😱😱 No lights by your bed, electricity went out 2x, day by day, for a couple of minutes while I was taking a shower. If you are looking for cheap place to stay but are not into drinking and want to sleep at night and feel safe and clean, reconsider your choice. Opinions from the comments are not taken seriously into consideration, unfortunately. Answering it's cheerful and colorful place etc. is not serious.

Full reviewI stayed here for 3 nights, and my first two were great. However, on the third night myself and the three other women in my room were left honestly traumatized. There was a large bachelor party staying in our room, and in a nutshell they came home very late, proceeding to yell and try to crawl into bed with the women in the room. When we reported this to the hotel staff, they did nothing to these men, telling us “we should have left and called the police”. This hostel does not protect women.
