I woke up both nights with bites all over one side of my body consistent with bedbugs. When stated to them, they offered me no help or accommodation and took forever to respond as well as no pre-communication on how to get into the hostel and I had to walk to another place to get my coat to get in. Was standing outside for 20 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend spend the extra money. for a clean safe host.

I would never recommend staying here to anyone. My first night the place flooded, which one of the staff members said happens every time it rains... The wifi doesn't work at all, and there is no cell service inside to connect to data. Worst of all, the woman in the bunk across from me had visible bite marks all across her face, which she said she got from sleeping in the bed at this place. When I brought this up with the hostel, they dismissed my concerns, refused to give me a refund because I did not feel comfortable staying there and risking bringing bed bugs back with me, and were overall incredibly unhelpful. Horrible experience!!

There are bed bugs. I repeat, there are bed bugs at this establishment. It's self check-in/out so random people come and go, saw a random person sleeping in the lobby area. People smoking in the rooms. Bathrooms are disgusting. Saw a few cochroaches as well. Fridge had an awful pungent smell. Sinks are plugged up.

I've been bitten by bed-bugs. The shower/toilet floor was not clean.

Smelly toilets, kitchen and bedrooms. Cockroaches. Light on timers. Bed bugs. 3 floors to walk down to the toilet at night.

There is no proper ventilation, the fan's wind don't reach the top bunker beds. I think there were bed bugs on bed No.2, but not sure.

Lo único que rescato del hostal es la ubicación, limpieza nula, el baño compartido muy desagradable, las habitaciones llenas de mosquitos y chinches. Definitivamente jamás volvería a este tipo de hostal.

Do not stay here. I cannot give 0 zero stars so I am forced to give them one which they don’t deserve. First of all, the property has NO STAFF WORKING ON SITE!! Which makes things extremely confusing regarding check in, getting towels or recieving help for anything else as there is no one to ask rather you have to call someone which takes an absurd amount of time for them to sort things out (if they even answer). Number 2. This property has bed bugs. Myself and my friends have bites all over us. Avoid this

Terrible place, emailed them before hand because of the terrible reviews - there were bed bugs, mold in the showers, and no appliances and no staff. Avoid this place at all cost - other parts of Malta are just as beautiful. This hostel should be ashamed and put out of business.
