Green Heart Hostel

Had bed bugs in the private room. Unfortunately I discovered them too late so I am now dealing with loads of itchy bites and trying to keep them out of my home.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Lisbon, and I regret to say that it was a highly uncomfortable experience. The first issue we encountered was the condition of the room—there were visible stains on both the sheets and pillow, which immediately made us question the cleanliness of the hotel. The noise at night was unbearable. The hotel is located above a bar, and the loud sounds from downstairs made it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the room was freezing. Despite it being winter in Lisbon, the hotel didn’t provide heating, and it felt colder inside than outside. We had to sleep in our winter jackets just to stay warm. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear everything from people snoring, to conversations, and even more intimate moments. Privacy was nonexistent. To make matters worse, on our last day, we found a bed bug on the pillow. This was the final straw, and we left feeling disgusted and disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are far better options in Lisbon that offer comfort, cleanliness, and peace of mind.

We had bed bugs in our private room : ( they said they had recently sprayed and were surprised about it, asked us to contact them via WhatsApp re: a refund for our second night since we left early.

I did have a few minor issues during my stay. It would’ve been nice to rent a lock for the dorm lockers, especially if you’re just staying for one night. The coffee machine in the kitchen isn’t available before 8am, so an option for early risers would be great. Unfortunately, I did get bitten by bedbugs overnight. I don’t think it’s due to the hostel’s cleanliness—my bed was neat and the bugs might be hiding in the wooden bunkbed structures, considering the age of the building. I’m confident the staff will address this issue, so it doesn’t affect my overall rating.

해당 숙소에서 빈대 3마리 나왔습니다. 아침에 침대에서 발견하고 바로 잡아서 리셉션에 보여줬는데, 어쩌라고? 식의 반응. 죄송하다는 말 한마디 없이 매매사이트 통해 알아서 대응하라는 반응이었습니다. 리셉션에 있던 두명 전부 빈대를 눈으로 확인했고, 그 중 여자분은 방까지 와서 확인해놓고, 나중에 매매사이트를 통해 빈대를 발견한적 없다는 답변만 받았네요. 한국인 분들 그냥 가지마세요. 위치도 중심에서 떨어져있고, 화장실도 깨끗하지 않습니다. I found 3 bedbugs here but the response of reception was the worst. Even though they saw bedbug together, they pretend not to see anything later. This accommodation was worst i had ever experienced. Also, the bathroom was not that clean

It looked fine, until a woman in the room found/caught bed bugs and reception were negating it. I felt itching that morning and asked to change the room. Later, the receptionist said they "didn't find any" BUT they changed the sheets and sprayed the mattress and I can "use it again". IF they did spray it will be toxic. Bites were now showing, showed evidence and finally the manager accepted and that they cannot do anything about it, and that it happens in hostels. So BED BUGS are normal here.

While the room was clean, there was mold growing on the walls, hence it’s impossible to be in the room with a closed window, due to the smell (wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay). Also, I can’t confirm or deny but on the sheets there was a bug similar to bedbug. Also, there was another bigger bug on the wall.

6 bed room is quite small. Bed Bug was found in my bed.. shower and toilet are clean. For people looking for meeting other people, this is not the right place. Really not a social Hostel. 30 min walk from the bairro Alto

I got bitten by bedbugs when I stayed there. Apart from that theplace is not clean. They only have two showers and toilets for an entire flor (20 people or more). The bedroom was very small for the number of people with a window that opened to a small yard with high wall so hardly any fresh air got in.

Later I found out that they gave my bed to someone else, when I talked to her, she told me she immediately started itching and had rashes on her body. When I went to the reception in the morning, I met another couple staying in another room and in the same situation. They said they would refund me in a few days, but I later found out that it was a lie and they wanted to stall me. When I messaged them, the manager Miguel Pereira wrote that they will not make any payments.

La struttura e quindi anche la nostra stanza era infestata di cimici da letto, purtroppo ce ne siamo accorti solo la seconda notte quando non era presente il personale della reception. Abbiamo passato la notte completamente in bianco ed al risveglio abbiamo scoperto che anche altri ospiti avevano avuto lo stesso problema. Le cimici erano annidate nella testata del letto, nei cuscini e nel pavimento di legno non accuratamente sigillato. Ho il corpo ricoperto di rush cutanei oltre al fatto che al rientro abbiamo dovuto portare tutto ciò che avevamo con noi ad un centro specializzato per disinfestare i bagagli ed il contenuto, cosa che ha un costo parecchio caro. È stato un incubo, sono ancora in attesa del rimborso del costo della prenotazione e delle spese sostenute per disinfettare i nostri effetti personali. Anche i bagni erano costantemente allagati e sporchi.

reservamos con meses de antelación avisando que nuestro avión llegaba tarde a la noche. A media hora de coger el avión nos dijeron que no podían recibirnos a nuestra llegada y tuvimos que dormir en el aeropuerto aun y habiendo pagado la noche. A la llegada nos dieron una habitación mucho más pequeña de lo que aparecía en las imágenes y hay chinches. No nos han devuelto ni 1 euro, atención horrible, no se han preocupado en ningún momento de responsabilizarse de la situación
