a&o Wien Stadthalle

Honestly, I’ve never written such bad review as this one. I got BED BUGS as a souvenir from this place, room was extremely hot and it was impossible to open windows during night as the street outside is loud. Bathroom is small and barely fits one person. Bed is uncomfortable and makes noises.

Bed bugs, not clean bed sheet

DO NOT COME HERE! They have BED BUGS!! Staff were not only unhelpful, but admitted to knowing that they have an infestation when we asked to move rooms. Refused a refund and left us stranded at night. Told us every other room was full (it was a GHOST TOWN). Do NOT come here. Shower was broken, sheets were clearly dirty. No lockers or bag storage. It was hell. Room had crumbs and dirt in the corner. We’ve been to multiple A&O but this was AWFUL. Hopefully an outlier but just DO NOT GO HERE.

Bedbugs! Worst hostel ever. Rooms were not clean, I was waking up with bites. No kitchen. Do not stay here.

The bed had bed bugs and when I stayed there for a night, I got some many bug bites and the washroom was not good

This hostel gave us bedbugs that we noticed right after leaving, definitely could use a deep cleaning of all the rooms. Saw bugs on the linens, completely disgusting.

One good thing about this hostel is the location (for me it was good because I was supposed to attend a concert in Wiener Stadthalle and it was really close) but everything else was bad. After checking in, I came to the room and found bedbugs (Bettwanze) next to the bed and around the room. After going to the reception and talking to the staff, the boss was supposed to come but I ended up waiting over 1 hour for him and he didn't show up. Me and my partner had enough and just decided to check out because we were afraid that if we stay there we might transfer the bed bugs home or anywhere else. That is totally unacceptable and don't reccomend this to anyone!
