Grad Hotel and Hostel

It's good to help with late check-ups. Payment is convenient through on-site payment. The location is also good and good. However, it is too hot because there is no kitchen window and the door is closed when cooking. It's a steamer. The kitchen isn't going as it is. It's too messy. Please run away from this creepy hostel. There is absolutely no young people. The place is packed with creepy middle age man, that all seem to know each other. They will stare at you while you eat or walk in the hallway. As 4 women, we felt very unsafe. Some guy was even sleeping in the common room. No doors to lock the showers, very small locker, thin mattress, no shutters. Some people had bed bugs. They just take money from your card without letting you know. Horrible experience.

There was no ventilation/opening windows in 10 people bedroom, and sleeping in such place with so many people was hard, two nights were fine but more would be probably hard to manage... Also kitchen and bathrooms were not so clean

There were bedbugs and a bad smell

This hostel made me realise why I hadn't stayed in a hostel in years and definitely not doing it again. We stayed in a room with 2 bunk beds (occupying 1 and then with 2 strangers), since it was one of the very last options in Stockholm during the Taylor Swift concerts period. The beds were not comfortable, the sheets were scratchy, the room was very hot... At least, we didn't get any bedbugs (that other reviews reported).

Very noisy. People slam doors all the time and do no one addresses that. Bathrooms were not the cleanest with used paper towering in the corners. We had our room replaced due to a leak and we were relocated to a windowless room next to one of their bunkbed filled room. Unfortunately, during our stay, that room (and pretty much the entire floor) was being used by traveling students. Doors slammed everywhere, shouting and running in the halls was constant through the night. Although I understand that this is not the hotel’s fault, it serves to show that you will hear everything and that the staff is not really helpful. To note that during the last night that I was bitten by some sort of insect multiple times that left very big swollen and itchy marks. I hope it was not bedbugs.

Meine Freundin und ich wurden überall am Körper von Bettwanzen gebissen, das Zimmer roch unangenehm und die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, um frische Luft hereinzulassen. Insgesamt keine angenehme Atmosphäre im Hotel.

Nos picaron las chinches, nos dimos cuenta ya al salir del hotel (estuvimos solo 1 noche). No deberian permitir eso, he leido varios comentarios igual, no puedes mantener habitaciones abiertas si tienes este tipo de plagas, ahora a nosotras nos supone una limpieza exhaustiva y cara por culpa de 1 noche en un sitio que ni deberia estar abierto.

Another level experience. The room 219 was dirty as if not even cleaned. The sheets were stained, so we checked the whole place and what we saw was disgusting. The mattresses were covered in hair, dust and crumbs. No wonder the place has bedbugs mentioned in recent reviews. The reception should be working 24/7 in such a place and provide help in such cases. I would also recommend changing your “professional cleaning service” as from what we have seen the rooms are not the only problem (toilets, showers too). We were lucky our room was on the 2nd floor and the awful smell from the kitchen didn’t reach us.

Tiene CHINCHES no vayais

We discovered there were bedbugs! But we're lucky we were not bitten or carried them back with us. Shared kitchen seemed dirty and overused

The hostel has bed bugs, and much worse the staff knows and they keep receiving guests, we discovered the bugs in middle of night and jumped out of bed, tried to call staff Emergency number and after a Loong while some one came to transfer us to another room, we inspected the other room and surprise surprise it also has bed bugs

Il personale è poco competente, l'ostello è frequentato da gente assolutamente non raccomandabile, la stanza è sporca (presenti le cimici da letto!!!), fredda (manca proprio il condizionatore) e spoglia (né ripiani né armadietti). Appena entrati nella stanza il ventilatore era addirittura acceso (10 dicembre). Il bagno non viene pulito con frequenza. Dalla cucina fuoriescono odori sgradevoli per la diversità di piatti cucinati. Esperienza P E S S I M A, soprattutto se sei una ragazza e viaggi sola.

Becauae of bed bugs since one week i am in hospital every day. I woke up with white bed bugs it was irritating

Avoid this hostel, I stayed in a single room with no window and no ventilation, it felt like suffocating. Also found bed bugs in the bed.
