Hostelle - Women Only Hostel

Hostelle is a women-only Amsterdam hostel in the Bijlmer/Arena side of the city, not a canal-ring hangout. Its practical win is transport: metro, buses, Bijlmer station, the Arena, food, shops, and airport access are all part of the useful setup. The better version has themed rooms, privacy curtains in some beds, kitchen or coffee access, and decent value if you already have your own plans in Amsterdam. The vibe is quiet dorm lodging more than backpacker chemistry lab. It is not a strong social-hostel pick, with little community energy or organized activity. The bigger caution is the basics: bathrooms and showers can be dirty, staff warmth is inconsistent, lockers and storage are weak points, and late-night return can feel uncomfortable for solo women. The women-only concept is real, but it does not automatically make the stay feel safe or warm.
