Celenya Hotel is mainly a central Toulon crash pad: close to the train station, port, old town, Place de la Liberte, shops, restaurants, and Zenith. The staff can be friendly and helpful, with late arrival help, easy check-in, and a night reception setup standing out as real positives. Breakfast is usually simple, sometimes correct or copious, but it can also feel limited for the price. The hotel-restaurant setup and occasional terrace rooms give it a little city-center character, but the building feels tired. Rooms are often small, bathrooms can be very tight, and showers may soak the floor because there is little separation or only a curtain. Some rooms have broken shutters, faulty lights, loose sockets, tired furniture, or plumbing smells. Noise is the big practical problem. Street sound, corridor doors, neighbors, plumbing, and late-night movement can carry straight into the rooms, so this is not a reliable sleep-first stop. The lift is a recurring weak spot too, including long outages and a few stuck-lift incidents, which matters a lot for upper floors and luggage. Pick it for location and price only if you can handle rough edges. It can work for a short, central night near the station, but the tradeoff is a real chance of maintenance issues, cramped bathrooms, odors, weak soundproofing, and service inconsistency.
