Although I don’t like writing this—since when I do write reviews, they’re usually positive—unfortunately this time I have to make an exception. As sometimes happens when traveling, this hostel had BEDBUGS. It really made the following week of my trip unpleasant. Of course, I reported it to the reception the very next morning. They refunded my accommodation, but unfortunately that doesn’t cover the additional costs for laundromats and pest control… The staff were kind; however, the mattress (at least mine) was in catastrophic condition, and I think the bedbugs had been there for quite some time. There were a lot of them. I believe this can happen in any hostel, but before you check in, make sure to thoroughly inspect the mattress you’ll be sleeping on.

Las reviews no reflejan el hostel. Te dan un trago a cambio de que les dejes una review. Es muy ruidoso y no se respetan los horarios de silencio. Pasan a limpiar el baño 1 sola vez al día y se inunda con cada ducha. tuve picaduras de bed bugs. Dentro de todo safa, pero buscaría otras opciones para la próxima vez

Análisis del ambiente
Supertramp funciona mejor como base logistica en Aguas Calientes: cerca para la movida de Machu Picchu, con te gratis, guardaequipaje, algunos momentos de personal amable y una zona lounge/bar que puede ser practica cuando la mision es dormir, ducha, montana, repetir. Es mas checkpoint util que hostel de ensueno. El mood es mixto. Algunas estancias encuentran buen trato o lo suficiente para una noche, pero el patron mas fuerte es basico, ruidoso y gastado. Puede tener sentido si necesitas una parada corta antes de las ruinas y priorizas ubicacion por encima de comodidad. No esperes magia social pulida. Olor a humedad, poca ventilacion en banos, duchas frias, Wi-Fi flojo, ruido y limpieza irregular aparecen bastante. Esto es campamento base tactico, no spa suave con literas.
Señales a revisar
- El ruido puede seguir hasta tarde y atravesar el edificio.
- Se repiten problemas de olor a humedad, moho y ventilacion en banos.
- El Wi-Fi y la fiabilidad de las duchas fallan en varias estancias.
