Although I don’t like writing this—since when I do write reviews, they’re usually positive—unfortunately this time I have to make an exception. As sometimes happens when traveling, this hostel had BEDBUGS. It really made the following week of my trip unpleasant. Of course, I reported it to the reception the very next morning. They refunded my accommodation, but unfortunately that doesn’t cover the additional costs for laundromats and pest control… The staff were kind; however, the mattress (at least mine) was in catastrophic condition, and I think the bedbugs had been there for quite some time. There were a lot of them. I believe this can happen in any hostel, but before you check in, make sure to thoroughly inspect the mattress you’ll be sleeping on.

Las reviews no reflejan el hostel. Te dan un trago a cambio de que les dejes una review. Es muy ruidoso y no se respetan los horarios de silencio. Pasan a limpiar el baño 1 sola vez al día y se inunda con cada ducha. tuve picaduras de bed bugs. Dentro de todo safa, pero buscaría otras opciones para la próxima vez

Analisi dell'atmosfera
Supertramp funziona meglio come base logistica ad Aguas Calientes: comodo per Machu Picchu, con te gratis, deposito bagagli, alcuni momenti di staff disponibile e un lounge/bar utile quando la missione e dormire, doccia, montagna, ripeti. Piu checkpoint tattico che ostello da sogno. L'atmosfera e mista. Alcuni soggiorni trovano personale gentile o un posto sufficiente per una notte, ma il disegno piu forte e basic, rumoroso e consumato. Ha senso per una sosta breve prima delle rovine, se la posizione conta piu del comfort. Non aspettarti magia sociale lucidata. Odore di umidita, poca ventilazione nei bagni, docce fredde, Wi-Fi debole, rumore e pulizia irregolare compaiono spesso. E un campo base pratico, non una spa morbida con letti a castello.
