BEDBUGS! I asked for an extra blanket, which must’ve had bedbugs on it. I woke up with 7 bites on my neck. My roommate, who didn’t use the extra blanket, had no bites. We emailed them as we left Durango, but no response.

I reserved online, once I arrived, the only thing pretty was the lobby. The property was very uncared for, broken screens in windows, weeds everywhere. I saw a review about bed bugs, and saw the reviews about $250 hold on credit card (and the guy in front of me had this happen to him, he was not happy). I decided not to stay. Of course I was still charged for one of the nights (ya, I paid not to stay there). BUT, they said that if I paid with credit card, I'd be charged 35% fee, and if I paid with cash, I had to have EXACT cash, or they wouldn't be able to give me change. Luckily I had the exact cash. Scammers.

For starters the weekly rate is an untrue statement.Not only will you pay the price for the stay but you also get the added company of the bed bugs. I was moved 5-6 times during my stay. As much as we all love and appriciate the local law enforcment in Durango that doesnt mean I want them at my place of residence every other night. The creek behind and bridge are so filled with trash that you wont want a walk after that. The maids dont talk english but they can sure spread lies,that the drama there is like a t.v. show. I didnt associate with them on a personal level but yet they still managed to let their drama effect my life. By they,I do mean every one of the staff from the property manager down to the maids. Disgusting to see how they are handling themselves right now, The Motel had potential at one time. I do not believe it does now.

Awful, the room was smelly and even worse it has BED BUGS!! I had to get another room at another hotel at 11pm with my niece. The staff seen the bug and offered me another room but I did not want to stay in that hotel any longer. When I called them for a refund they denied having bed bugs even though I have pictures and bites!

They have bed bugs I woke up to bed bugs biting my face. We bought two rooms and this is only the first night and they wont give the money back so I'm forced to stay in a bed bug room. I'm pregnant and not very happy. If I could post pictures I deffintly would.

Looks clean and quite room 113 tonight is the second night been itchy all my body I started inspecting and I found Couple rest of bedbugs around the place is very important to you all make sure there are not bedbugs at your room check 4 corners and any place that they can hide you don't wanna have deal with them at your house experience is horrible we are a crew of workers staying at this hotel second night out of 5 let's see what happens next!

El acceso directo al sendero junto al río de Durango es la razón concreta más fuerte para mirar The Junction Hotel and Hostel. La zona trasera junto al arroyo y los senderos cercanos para bici y caminata lo vuelven útil para ver el tren, caminar hacia el centro o salir al aire libre sin pelear primero con el tráfico de autos. Esto es un híbrido económico de motel viejo y hostel, más que un hostel social pulido. La ubicación hace mucho del trabajo pesado: el centro, restaurantes, mercados, la zona del tren de vapor, el trolley o bus y el acceso a Main Street son ventajas prácticas. El staff puede ser amable y servicial, y el lugar puede funcionar para una noche barata de paso si llevas las expectativas calibradas en bajo. Las habitaciones y áreas compartidas son irregulares. Puede haber cocina, sala común, lavandería, estacionamiento, piscina pequeña, lockers, mini fridges, juegos y luces de cama, pero el mantenimiento y la disponibilidad son inconsistentes. El setup social se siente más funcional que divertido: útil si necesitas una cama cerca del outdoor de Durango, flojo si buscas una escena hostelera limpia y viva.

- El edificio suele estar bastante venido abajo, con habitaciones gastadas, paredes parchadas, ropa de cama vieja, toallas manchadas, moho, olor a humo y problemas de limpieza.
- El ruido puede ser un problema real por paredes delgadas, movimiento en el piso de arriba, puertas, cañerías, unidades de aire acondicionado, tráfico, refrigeradores y alarmas con luces parpadeantes.
- La cocina y los espacios compartidos pueden estar sucios o mal equipados, con electrodomésticos rotos o utensilios limitados.
- El check-in, el acceso con llaves, los horarios de recepción, el contacto de emergencia, los depósitos y las asignaciones de habitación pueden ser poco fiables.
- Servicios como desayuno, café, máquinas de hielo, lavandería, aire acondicionado, TV, agua caliente, estado de la piscina y housekeeping pueden no coincidir con las expectativas.
- Aparecen preocupaciones de seguridad y comodidad alrededor de puertas exteriores, zonas oscuras de estacionamiento, situaciones en dormitorios y gente merodeando por la propiedad.
