Location. The staff was kind, spoke english, but incapable. Before falling asleep i noticed something crawling next to my pillow. Without a single doubt i knew it wad bedbugs. I woke up my roommates and went to the reception, told the receptionist to see our room. Together me and my roommates found multiple bedbugs in our beds. The receptionist gave us another room, but it was very hard to trust that place. There apparently nothing she could do now and that someone responsible will come to the hostel in the morning. Fortunately, after thorough ispection we did not find any bedbugs in that room and if we did, I don’t know what would we do, because the receptionist disappeared without saying anything. In the morning we went back to the reception, there was nobody responsible, just another receptionist. At least she was informed about our situation and after we asked she allowed us to wash our potentionally infested clothes in the hostel’s private laundry room with the words “customers normally have to pay for this, but we will let you for free”. I asked whether we can get a refund for our experience and she said she does not know. I asked whether there is someone superior she can contact and she said she will ask the boss, who according to her words is “the church”. We did not hear about he boss’s reply or whether he was even asked. That is where the incentive to fix this situation ended. We had to leave soon after our clothes got washed.

Lage war zumindest gut. Küche vorhanden. Im Dorm hats leider Bettwanzen!!! Daher absolut nicht zu empfehlen, die Nacht verbrachte ich dann auf der Couch im Gemeinschaftsraum, super gemütlich 🙄👎

Hostel Louna es una base sencilla en edificio antiguo en el centro de Pärnu, cerca del casco antiguo, estación de buses, parques, restaurantes y playa. Funciona mejor como un lugar simple para dormir que como hostel social: la tranquilidad es un tema común, y la atmósfera puede sentirse curiosamente institucional en vez de backpacker-buzzy. Las camas individuales en vez de literas aparecen en al menos parte del montaje de dorms, lo que sirve si las literas no son lo tuyo. Habitaciones y pasillos pueden ser espaciosos, puede que las toallas estén incluidas, el Wi-Fi funciona bien y hay cocina disponible, aunque el equipo puede ser irregular. También puede haber lavandería. No es un lugar pulido. El edificio y las zonas compartidas pueden sentirse viejos, gastados, oscuros y pasados de hora para mejoras. El staff puede ser amable y servicial, pero el check-in tarde y el manejo de recepción pueden ser irregulares. El desayuno es una apuesta: puede ser simple y casero, pero también sentirse demasiado básico para el costo extra.
Señales a revisar
- Los dorms son mixtos, y la escena social parece muy fina.
- Las habitaciones hacia la calle pueden ser ruidosas, especialmente cuando las ventanas están abiertas en clima caluroso.
- Baños y duchas compartidos pueden sentirse anticuados, gastados o no lo bastante limpios.
- Camas y almohadas pueden ser incómodas.
- Puede que no valga la pena añadir el desayuno.
- El guardaequipaje después del checkout puede significar dejar bolsas en un pasillo sin supervisión.
- Una estancia en dorm de 2025 tuvo chinches; trata las habitaciones compartidas con cautela.
