the place was lovely but about 12-24 hours after leaving the hostel, I noticed bed bug bites over my body…based on my trip, it only makes sense that i got them from the hostel

I found bedbugs in our triple room, and I was bitten multiple times. While we were able to switch rooms and some of our clothes were frozen, the response from the staff made it seem like this was no big deal. It was, however, a very unpleasant and gross experience, and I am still disgusted by the thought of it. We never received an apology, and despite following up by email, I haven't received any response. Additionally, I wanted to make a tea in the kitchen, but it was so dirty that I was turned off.

Overall a great experience. The reason the reason there's only 2 stars is because I got bitten at night by bedbugs and although I understand this could happen anywhere, I was a bit surprised that when I informed it at reception I wasn't offered any compensation witch would be expected anywhere else.

Analisi dell'atmosfera
L'ostello Ruthensteiner Vienna ha una struttura sociale con bar, ampie aree comuni, giardino e cene condivise. Il personale è amichevole e la struttura è pulita negli spazi condivisi e nelle camere. La posizione è adatta ai trasporti pubblici, in particolare alla Westbahnhof e all'U3. Non è proprio nel mezzo dei principali luoghi di interesse, quindi ci vuole tempo per raggiungere il centro. L'ostello sembra pratico piuttosto che lucido. La dimensione della stanza e' il principale compromesso. Le camere sono spesso molto piccole, il ripostiglio è limitato e la privacy è esigua perché i letti non hanno tende. Il rumore proveniente da bar, cortile, strada o stanze vicine può influire di notte. L'edificio del dormitorio femminile è dall'altra parte della strada dagli spazi comuni principali, quindi le gite notturne per un drink, un tè o un bagno sono meno convenienti.
