I got destroyed by BED BUGS! After the first night I thought it was just a mosquito so I bought an insect repellent. It didn't help, after every night I was waking up with more and more bites ALL OVER my body. They are everywhere and are very itchy. My doctor confirmed that the bites were from bed bugs, so I texted the host to let him know. He said that I was lying and that the bites were from sand flies. He said that the previous guest didn't report anything so that can't be true lol He then said that he would have sent pest control and let me know. Later I asked him for updates but he has been leaving me on read ever since. Looking at the photos it looks like a first class accommodation, but the reality is very far from that. The room is so small you have basically no space to move. It's always super humid, so everything from your clothes to the bed will always be wet. The furniture is old and unkempt. The cold water handle in the shower was not working, so the water was super hot all the time. There were no curtains so the water was going everywhere. The pillows were stinky and dirty I had to sleep without them. There is no staff around the place. During my last night the guys staying above me had a party and they had karaoke until 6 am in the morning... I am a very flexible and adaptable host, I traveled around the world and it's probably the first time I'm writing a bad review. Stay away from this place, it is absolutely not worth the money it costs

Moon Apartments è un piccolo setup di camere private in una posizione forte a Utila: vicino al ferry, sulla o vicino alla striscia principale di shopping e cibo, e di fronte a un centro immersioni. Può funzionare come base semplice quando la posizione conta più dell'energia da ostello. L'ingresso è perlopiù remoto, con reception virtuale, pagamento online, dati del passaporto e codici porta per l'accesso. Luis è spesso raggiungibile via WhatsApp e può essere rapido e utile, ma potrebbe non esserci staff fisicamente presente nella struttura. Le camere possono essere molto compatte. Alcune hanno un piccolo frigo e microonde, e un'unità upgrade aveva una camera familiare e più bagni. La pulizia arriva in modo irregolare: il posto può essere impeccabile, ma ci sono anche problemi con bagni, umidità, lenzuola macchiate, cuscini sporchi e un serio problema di cimici dei letti. È più un crash pad pratico in appartamento che un ostello sociale. Aspettati comodità, posizione abbastanza centrale e supporto remoto occasionalmente utile, ma tieni strette le aspettative su spazio, manutenzione e risoluzione problemi in loco.

- Le camere possono essere estremamente piccole, con poco spazio per muoversi.
- La reception è virtuale, quindi l'aiuto di persona potrebbe non essere disponibile.
- Pagamento e accesso possono dipendere dall'elaborazione online prima che vengano inviati i codici porta.
- Ci sono problemi ricorrenti di manutenzione su idraulica, odori del bagno, acqua calda, maniglie e interruzioni di acqua o corrente.
- La piscina è molto piccola, e le promesse di jacuzzi potrebbero non corrispondere al setup reale.
- Un soggiorno ha avuto un serio problema di cimici dei letti, quindi controlla le condizioni recenti prima di prenotare.
