Great hostel for socialising and drinking, if that’s what you like. No real privacy as there’s no curtains on the beds and nowhere to sit except the common area which is quite crammed. The bathrooms didn’t feel that clean and I’m pretty sure my bed had bed bugs. However it was in a great location and I had a great time and met wonderful people! The staff were good at organising events

Much cleaner than over dive centres I’ve stayed at. However, I reported potential bed bugs (which for the record, I think I got the bed bug bites from a different hostel) via their WhatsApp number. I asked them to let me know if they found anything, and then they gave me the number of the front desk manager. I texted this number to check the message had been passed on. I’ve had no response and no messages since. Not very professional

Literally the best hostel in KL! Judith and Patrick are amazing, and the guests here really do feel like family. They also went above and beyond and moved me beds and even cleaned all of my stuff because of bed bugs that I got from the previous hostel I stayed at. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

O pub crawl é o evento principal no Sunshine Bedz KL: uma plataforma social fácil em Bukit Bintang, com noites de quiz e planos regulares à noite que tornam simples se conectar rápido. É especialmente forte para mochileiros solo que querem que KL pareça menos anônima já na primeira noite. A localização faz muito trabalho pesado. O MRT Bukit Bintang fica perto, shoppings, restaurantes, Jalan Alor, lojas de conveniência e pontos centrais são fáceis de alcançar, e as Petronas Towers são caminháveis se o calor estiver colaborando. A equipe pode ser calorosa e pessoal, com nomes como Wan, Patrick e Marsha ligados a muita da melhor energia daqui. As instalações são básicas, não polidas. Espere uma sensação de hostel old-school, dormitórios e chuveiros limpos o suficiente quando o lugar está rodando bem, ar-condicionado nos quartos, lockers, uma geladeira em vez de cozinha compartilhada completa, café da manhã simples com torradas e um rooftop ou terraço de fumantes para ficar de boa. Isto é mais motor social do que laboratório boutique de sono.

- Camas de dormitório geralmente não têm cortinas de privacidade, e os cobertores podem ser pequenos ou finos.
- Os horários da recepção podem ser limitados, com late check-in e checkout cedo exigindo paciência extra.
- Quartos e banheiros podem parecer apertados, datados, úmidos ou com layout estranho, com banheiros às vezes longe dos dormitórios.
- O WiFi pode ser mais fraco nos quartos do que nas áreas comuns.
- O barulho pode viajar da área comum, da rua ou dos planos sociais de madrugada, então pessoas com sono leve podem sofrer.
