It was an amazing hostel, it felt very luxurious and safe! Really comfortable beds and every bed had a fan. Only downside is that there were bedbugs there during my stay :/

I like this hostel for its bike storage and included breakfast, as well as for its always friendly staff and nice design This time I was "unlucky" and was bitten by bed bugs. Disinfection is a must after this. I notified the staff as soon as I found it out

Bed bugs, staff was nice but I don’t think much matters once a hostel has bed bugs. Unless they throw out the mattresses as any treatments are usually false promises.

staff where great and helpful the sheets were not clean infact the hotel was full of bed bugs I got bitten quite badly even after so called sanitation even others got bitten but everyone thought they were mosquitos but bed bugs infact have to go to doctor

AVOID - bedbugs. Reported to staff and dismissed. The stay and people were very lovely, but I unfortunately woke up to several bug bites all over my body. I told hotel staff and even pointed out the bed bug stains on the mattress (apparently I can’t attach pics but they were clumped little black stains on the bottom edge seam of the mattress). Hostel staff dismissed them as “stains” (but they looked exactly like bed bug mattress stains if you do that image search) and did nothing about it.

An sich schönes Hostel, jedoch habe ich BETTWANZEN bekommen. Auf Rückfrage wurde nur gesagt dass es gecheckt wird, jedoch wurde nicht einmal nach meiner Bettnummer gefragt. Das Problem wurde anscheinend nicht ernst genommen. Mein ganzer Körper wurde befallen und ich plage mich nun mit dem Problem. Sehr schade, denn an sich war das Hostel sauber und schön, in einer tollen Lage.

Very nice hostel with cool vibes for a more laid back traveller not as into the party scene. Nice spacious rooms and cool building. Unfortunately there were bed bugs in one of the beds we had booked and the sheets were visibly dirty. The top bunk also lacked proper railings so if you don't have a bunk up against a wall as we didn't, it can feel a little dodgy! Overall a mostly positive experience except for the bed bugs.

ControVento Hostel liegt in einem historischen Gebäude in oberer Etage im Zentrum von Triest, nahe Waterfront, Restaurants, Bars, Corso und Busverbindungen. Das Design ist ein echter Teil des Aufenthalts: farbige Zimmer, hohe Decken, Meer- oder Marinablicke in manchen Zimmern und eine gemütliche Lounge mit Büchern, Zeitschriften, Spielen und Platz zum Arbeiten. Lounge-/Arbeitsbereich und Küche sind die stärksten praktischen Teile. WLAN funktioniert gut für Laptop-Zeit, Frühstück ist inklusive, und die Küche ist meist gut ausgestattet, mit Spülmaschine und genug Basics für einfache Mahlzeiten. Die Atmosphäre geht ruhig, artsy und kleinformatig statt volles Partychaos, obwohl das Stadt-Nachtleben direkt draußen liegt. Personalservice ist meist warm und hilfreich, und der Ort ist oft sauber, mit geräumigen Dorms, Schließfächern, Cubby-Fächern, Ladepunkten an Betten in manchen Zimmern, Fahrradaufbewahrung und gelegentlicher Gepäckabgabe nach Checkout. Es passt am besten, wenn du Triest-Zugang, ein charaktervolles altes Gebäude und einen entspannten Gemeinschaftsraum willst, mehr als eine polierte Schlafkapsel.
Signale zum Prüfen
- Es gibt keinen Aufzug, und das Hostel liegt eine ernsthafte Treppe hoch, die mit schweren Taschen rau sein kann.
- Knarrende Böden, dünne Wände, Flurgeräusche und nahe Bars können Schlaf fragil machen, besonders für leichte Schläfer.
- Sommer kann heiß sein, weil Klimaanlage begrenzt oder absent ist, und Mücken können bei offenen Fenstern ein Thema sein.
- Obere Etagenbetten können hoch und ungünstig wirken, und Dorm-Betten können Sichtschutzvorhänge vermissen.
- Bäder und Duschen können zu Stoßzeiten eng, begrenzt oder ungünstig wirken.
- Bettwanzenprobleme sind mehr als einmal aufgetreten, inklusive neuerer Fälle.
- Einige ernste Serviceausfälle betreffen Schlüssel, nächtlichen Zugang, Reservierungen und Haustierregeln.
