Confirmado Hostelworld
It was an amazing hostel, it felt very luxurious and safe! Really comfortable beds and every bed had a fan. Only downside is that there were bedbugs there during my stay :/

Bed bugs, staff was nice but I don’t think much matters once a hostel has bed bugs. Unless they throw out the mattresses as any treatments are usually false promises.

the sheets were not clean infact the hotel was full of bed bugs I got bitten quite badly even after so called sanitation even others got bitten but everyone thought they were mosquitos but bed bugs infact have to go to doctor

AVOID - bedbugs. Reported to staff and dismissed. The stay and people were very lovely, but I unfortunately woke up to several bug bites all over my body. I told hotel staff and even pointed out the bed bug stains on the mattress (apparently I can’t attach pics but they were clumped little black stains on the bottom edge seam of the mattress). Hostel staff dismissed them as “stains” (but they looked exactly like bed bug mattress stains if you do that image search) and did nothing about it.

An sich schönes Hostel, jedoch habe ich BETTWANZEN bekommen. Auf Rückfrage wurde nur gesagt dass es gecheckt wird, jedoch wurde nicht einmal nach meiner Bettnummer gefragt. Das Problem wurde anscheinend nicht ernst genommen. Mein ganzer Körper wurde befallen und ich plage mich nun mit dem Problem. Sehr schade, denn an sich war das Hostel sauber und schön, in einer tollen Lage.

Very nice hostel with cool vibes for a more laid back traveller not as into the party scene. Nice spacious rooms and cool building. Unfortunately there were bed bugs in one of the beds we had booked and the sheets were visibly dirty. The top bunk also lacked proper railings so if you don't have a bunk up against a wall as we didn't, it can feel a little dodgy! Overall a mostly positive experience except for the bed bugs.

ControVento Hostel fica em um prédio histórico de andar alto no centro de Trieste, perto da orla, restaurantes, bares, corso e conexões de ônibus. O design é parte real da estadia: quartos coloridos, tetos altos, vistas para o mar ou marina em alguns quartos e um lounge aconchegante com livros, revistas, jogos e espaço para trabalhar. O lounge/área de trabalho e a cozinha são os pedaços práticos mais fortes. O Wi-Fi funciona bem para tempo de laptop, o café da manhã está incluído, e a cozinha geralmente é bem equipada, com lava-louças e básicos suficientes para refeições simples. A atmosfera puxa para calma, artsy e de pequena escala, em vez de caos total de festa, embora a vida noturna da cidade esteja logo lá fora. O serviço da equipe geralmente é caloroso e prestativo, e o lugar costuma ser limpo, com dormitórios espaçosos, armários, cubículos, pontos de carregamento junto às camas em alguns quartos, guarda-bikes e ocasional possibilidade de deixar bagagem após checkout. Encaixa melhor se você quer acesso a Trieste, um prédio antigo cheio de personalidade e uma sala comum relaxada mais do que um pod de sono polido.
Sinais para conferir
- Não há elevador, e o hostel fica no alto de uma escadaria séria que pode ser pesada com malas grandes.
- Pisos rangentes, paredes finas, som do corredor e bares próximos podem deixar o sono frágil, especialmente para quem tem sono leve.
- O verão pode ser quente porque o ar-condicionado é limitado ou ausente, e mosquitos podem ser problema quando as janelas ficam abertas.
- Beliches de cima podem parecer altos e esquisitos, e camas de dormitório podem não ter cortinas de privacidade.
- Banheiros e chuveiros podem parecer apertados, limitados ou estranhos em horários cheios.
- Problemas com percevejos apareceram mais de uma vez, incluindo casos recentes.
- Algumas falhas sérias de serviço envolvem chaves, acesso tarde da noite, reservas e gestão da política para pets.
