I think we got bed bugs from the hostel.The shared areaby the reception was potentially very nice, but it was filthy. The bin was overflowing and rubbish was on the floor. Considering how well run the restaurant was- good food and lovely staff -I was a bit taken aback!

The bed was fairly uncomfortable and small. I stayed on the bottom bunk, and anytime the person above me shifted, the whole bed would shake as well. The guests that I stayed with were not the nicest, but that’s not the hostels fault.

Analyse de l'ambiance
Saucy Mary's est surtout une halte pratique sur Skye : emplacement solide à l'entrée de l'île, parking facile, vues sur la mer et pub/restaurant juste à côté. Ça marche bien pour une nuit ou deux simples pendant que tu bouges autour de l'île. Le staff ressort souvent comme sympa et serviable, et la nourriture reçoit pas mal de crédit. Les chambres sont basiques et le lieu fait old-school plutôt que poli, mais pour les voyageurs qui privilégient la commodité aux extras de confort, ça fait le job.

- Les chambres et salles de bain sont souvent basiques, et la salle de bain peut être hors de la chambre ou au bout du couloir.
- La cuisine partagée et les équipements communs peuvent sembler très limités pour le prix.
- Le bruit, les intérieurs usés et l'entretien général peuvent être rugueux.
