I think we got bed bugs from the hostel.The shared areaby the reception was potentially very nice, but it was filthy. The bin was overflowing and rubbish was on the floor. Considering how well run the restaurant was- good food and lovely staff -I was a bit taken aback!

The bed was fairly uncomfortable and small. I stayed on the bottom bunk, and anytime the person above me shifted, the whole bed would shake as well. The guests that I stayed with were not the nicest, but that’s not the hostels fault.

Analisi dell'atmosfera
Saucy Mary's e' fondamentalmente una tappa pratica su Skye: posizione forte all'ingresso dell'isola, parcheggio facile, viste sul mare e pub/ristorante accanto. Funziona bene per una notte o due semplici mentre ti muovi sull'isola. Lo staff spesso risulta gentile e disponibile, e il cibo riceve parecchio credito. Le camere sono basiche e il posto sembra old-school piu' che rifinito, ma per viaggiatori a cui importa piu' la comodita' degli extra comfort, fa il suo lavoro.
Segnali da controllare
- Camere e bagni sono spesso basici, e il bagno puo' essere fuori dalla camera o in fondo al corridoio.
- La cucina condivisa e le strutture comuni possono sembrare molto limitate per il prezzo.
- Rumore, interni usurati e manutenzione generale possono essere ruvidi.
