BED BUGS! // PUNAISES DE LIT! I found a bed bug on the mattress (under the blankets) upon my arrival. Ended up leaving and asking for a refund, which I was thankfully granted. The team was super understanding, said they had already been working on treating the place and thought the issue was solved. Apparently not. I am sure they will take necessary measures to get rid of them but I would be extra cautious and check everything if I were to stay there. Very unfortunate, considering the place looked amazing, common areas and rooms.

BED BUGS! When I woke up at 11:08 pm with scratches and bites all over my body. I walked down many flights of stairs to call the hostel reception. They were not apologetic upon hearing I had been bitten by bedbugs. Nor did they offer a refund unless asked. I was only granted a refund for one night. Ridiculous! When I showed the bites on my body they even denied that they were bed bug bites. After having a terrible experience and being further invalidated by the staff it’s an awful experience abroad. I became ill afterwards and not wanting to travel while in this state, I booked more nights. I would not recommend this hostel to any loved ones of mine. Safe travels to all!

Es fehlten: - kostenlose Handtücher - im Innenhof einen gemütlichen Platz um sich aufzuhalten - Vorhänge an den Betten Leider hatte das 14 Betten Schlafzimmer Bettwanzen (von denen das Hostel-Team wusste, da überall Fallen aufgestellt waren, die leider nichts gebracht haben)

The hostel looks amazing and stays true to Mediterranean design concepts. Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant stay as I got bit by bed bugs. However the hostel resolved the issue and provided me a refund. They were easy to deal with, even during difficult conversations. I recommend maintaining some staff in the hostel at night to deal with issues like mine.
Analisi dell'atmosfera
Lo storico edificio Art Nouveau e' l'amo qui, dando a Hostel Soller piu' un feeling da piccolo hotel che da sosta a castelli nuda e cruda. E' pulito, stiloso e vicino al centro di Sóller, con il GR221 e le giornate in montagna esattamente nella zona pratica giusta. Il setup condiviso e' migliore del generico: cucina ben attrezzata, molto spazio frigo, bagni puliti, armadietti sotto i letti e un piccolo cortile o terrazza per mangiare e stare fuori. Le aree comuni funzionano per leggere, cucinare e socializzare con calma, e l'atmosfera puo' essere amichevole e facile per conoscere persone senza diventare una macchina da party. La colazione puo' includere succo d'arancia fresco, caffe', opzioni in stile spagnolo e a volte lievito madre, ma il valore e' abbastanza misto da rendere piu' furba la cucina o i negozi vicini. Lo staff e' spesso utile e caldo, anche se copertura della reception e costanza del servizio possono variare. Il posto e' al massimo per escursionisti, esploratori di Sóller e viaggiatori che vogliono una base bella e pulita con voltaggio sociale rilassato. E' meno ideale per chi cerca sonno profondo, privacy, supporto con staff tutta la notte o un conto da ostello cheap.

- I dorm sotto il tetto o nelle camere piu' grandi possono sembrare stretti, caldi o soffocanti.
- Il rumore puo' viaggiare da strada, corridoio, porte, bagni, tubature e altri letti.
- La reception potrebbe non essere sempre presidiata, soprattutto piu' tardi nel giorno o di notte.
- Colazione, asciugamani, lenzuola, acqua e prezzi delle camere private possono sembrare cari per il setup.
- Alcuni letti non hanno tende privacy, e le prese possono essere scomode o limitate.
- Ci sono stati problemi passati di cimici da letto; controllare il materasso all'arrivo e' sensato.
- Parcheggiare nei dintorni puo' essere difficile.
