BED BUGS! // PUNAISES DE LIT! I found a bed bug on the mattress (under the blankets) upon my arrival. Ended up leaving and asking for a refund, which I was thankfully granted. The team was super understanding, said they had already been working on treating the place and thought the issue was solved. Apparently not. I am sure they will take necessary measures to get rid of them but I would be extra cautious and check everything if I were to stay there. Very unfortunate, considering the place looked amazing, common areas and rooms.

BED BUGS! When I woke up at 11:08 pm with scratches and bites all over my body. I walked down many flights of stairs to call the hostel reception. They were not apologetic upon hearing I had been bitten by bedbugs. Nor did they offer a refund unless asked. I was only granted a refund for one night. Ridiculous! When I showed the bites on my body they even denied that they were bed bug bites. After having a terrible experience and being further invalidated by the staff it’s an awful experience abroad. I became ill afterwards and not wanting to travel while in this state, I booked more nights. I would not recommend this hostel to any loved ones of mine. Safe travels to all!

Es fehlten: - kostenlose Handtücher - im Innenhof einen gemütlichen Platz um sich aufzuhalten - Vorhänge an den Betten Leider hatte das 14 Betten Schlafzimmer Bettwanzen (von denen das Hostel-Team wusste, da überall Fallen aufgestellt waren, die leider nichts gebracht haben)

The hostel looks amazing and stays true to Mediterranean design concepts. Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant stay as I got bit by bed bugs. However the hostel resolved the issue and provided me a refund. They were easy to deal with, even during difficult conversations. I recommend maintaining some staff in the hostel at night to deal with issues like mine.

Vibe Analysis
The historic Art Nouveau building is the hook here, giving Hostel Soller more of a small hotel feel than a bare-bones bunk stop. It is less ideal for anyone chasing deep sleep, privacy, staffed-all-night support, or a cheap-feeling hostel bill.
