I had a deeply disappointing experience during my stay at Urbany Hostel London due to a bedbug infestation in my room. Over the course of three nights, I was repeatedly bitten, which led to significant discomfort and persistent itching that lasted for weeks. Even now, months later, I still have scars from these bites. Upon realizing the issue, I reported it to the hostel. While they initially responded promptly and claimed to conduct regular pest control checks, their follow-up was unsatisfactory. Despite providing photographic evidence and medical confirmation that the bites were indeed from bedbugs, the hostel dismissed my concerns. What is most concerning is the hostel's refusal to take accountability for the health and safety of their guests. Not only was I denied a refund, but the overall tone of their communication seemed more focused on denying responsibility than ensuring guest well-being. The health risks associated with bedbugs are well-documented, and it is crucial for any hospitality provider to respond with care and seriousness when such issues are reported. I cannot in good conscience recommend staying at Urbany Hostel London. While I understand that issues like bedbugs can arise in any accommodation, how a business responds to these issues is equally important. Unfortunately, Urbany Hostel failed to take appropriate responsibility for a serious health concern.

No CCTV Doors dont shut fully you have to pull them shut when leaving room. First room had bedbugs so I was transferred to another room. Staff were arrogantly friendly but had hidden agendas of drinking games to make you miss check out so you then had to pay $20 late checkout fee My advise would be to use the hostels around the corner
